The dreaded craft

Well, at now level 50, I'm hoping this will be my last really newbie question.

I've yet to craft or have anything crafted in this game.
But I have so many mats, craft parts and recipes that I had to dedicate three storage alts to all that junk.

Now, let's say I want to make good use of all this stuff, and craft some of the juiciest items I have at my disposal, not being a dwarf, how do I go about doing just that ?

Most of the times I take a look in giran, the dwarven manufactures just don't craft what I'm looking for, and I'm left staring at my 100% rec, wondering how it would look on my head if I used it as a hat (the answer is : not too good).

Basically I guess what I'm asking here is a nice and brief rundown on crafting in L2 when you're not a dwarf and have some nice recs lying around :)
Give some thought to creating a dwarf and running him up to a craft level where you can use a bunch of those recipes and use up your mats crafting. While there may be very little you craft and put on your main, and a bit more that you craft and sell for a nice profit, there will be a ton that you craft and can crush into crystals. Think of it this way, for the effort of levelling an artisan (perhaps eventually a warsmith) you will have virtually free shots for life and an abundance of crystals to sell for a nice profit to buy the gear you want.
But dwarves are horribly boring =/
Some people enjoy them, some don't.
My archer just hit 50. About 5 levels ago I made an artisan so at the very least I could make and sell DSS to help pay for the higher grade gear. Now he runs my overnight/day store. (Hopefully making money while I am sleeping.) I get hope and switch to a different toon.

If you truly dont want to make a dwarf, look at the "private creation" shops in Giran. You must supply the materials needed and pay a fee to use the players MP. In the end though you end up with the crafted item. (Some higher level items are 60% chance of success...)

Clicking on the item in the shop will tell you what mats are needed. GL and Good Hunting
If none of the craft shops have the recipe that you want then try shouting for a crafter.

But before you shout, have the decency to make sure that you have all the materials, parts and (if applicable) recipe. There is nothing more annoying than hopping onto a dwarf alt or going out of your way to craft something for someone only to have them say "Oh, I haven't got X yet, brb". People who play dwarves are not there to serve everyone else, their time is precious too.

;)
you can make a crafter alt and lvl it up to 28ish (?) that way you will have a fair few of the basic craftable mats and i will hate you for it because i dont like when ppl make crafter alts to circumvent the reasonable fees my lower lvl counterparts charge, but it is an option

heres the run down on crafting as one of the lesser races
up until A grade all that is required to craft on a dwarf is that you have all the needed mats and they have whatever you want crafted registered
at A grade and higher not only do you need all the mats and the dwarf needs the item registered but you need a second duplicate recipie in you inventory (you can think of it as another type of required mat)

since you are only 50 i would venture a guess and say that all the recipies you have are B grade and lower
should you wish to craft something, and you want to be very careful what you craft since the majority of craftable items below A grade will usually result in a loss not a profit then you can just trade a friendly dwarf your rec in exchange for a few free crafts
some trust is involved but odds are you wont be ripped off if you select a non-farmer dorf who actively plays it as their main
