Lineage 2 Chat Glitch.

While messing around typing the word 0Wned, "The W being the weird in game W with \ the backslash key" I found a chat glitch which allows you to do multiple text on new lines in chat. Wn or "\n" in game.

If you do a bunch of \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n "appears as WnWnWn etc" in game, it will allow you to create a huge blank box in chat. Also, if you were to do \nOne\nTwo\nThree\nFour\nFive etc it would appear in chat like:
One
Two
Three
Four
Five.

That's a fun one - the L2 client doesn't filter the "\n" sequence (usually used to denote a line break in many programming languages). I can just imagine the fun our clan chat spammers will have with that one. :)

For the record: Doesn't work with titles. I checked. ;)

Hm nice with that \n :) it's usually line break (carriage return too?).

IMO it's not very kosher to post glitches like this. Report them via the normal channels.

It may be feature as well. You never know if such character is not used when formatting system messages anyway. And I bet it's around since forever.

It has been, if you try to set a clan crest all the \ show up as that funny W.

try putting 923 in chat.
