On April 28, 2007, Lineage II celebrates three years in North America and Europe. Were very excited that you have continued your journeys in Aden with us! These past three years have been full of fun and adventure, and we hope you have many fond memories of partying with your friends and defeating your enemies.
Lineage II is entering an exciting time where the future will bring many changes. Some of you have heard of the Kamael, the new race coming in The First Throne. As we get closer to the update, we will begin releasing information about the race and the update, so stay tuned!
Other changes are also happening in the very near future. Today we are sad to announce the departure of Adam Rust Davidson, the Producer of Lineage II. Adam is pursuing another opportunity, and we wish him the best! He will be posting soon to say his goodbye to you. I will also be leaving the team; next Friday, May 4, is my last day as the Lineage II Community Manager. I will post more on this subject next week, but I would like to say now that has been an absolute pleasure to get to know all of you over these past three years.
Tim Ornery Tan will be taking the reins of Lineage II as the new Producer, so please join me in welcoming him to his new role! Another familiar face to some of you, Sam Omega Han, is now the Associate Producer of Lineage II. Both Tim and Sam have been part of Lineage II since closed beta. They are both very enthusiastic about whats coming up for the game and will also be posting soon with some more information.
Major game updates and an exciting new direction -- there are great things in store! We look forward to entering this new age of Lineage II together with you.
I just wanted to take a quick moment to thank you all for playing L2 and making this an exciting and rewarding project. It really doesn't seem like 3.5 years that I've been involved with the game, but time flies and all that jazz.
Ornery's been doing all of my work for some time now anyways, so please congratulate him for finally getting the title and recognition he deserves. Also, say some kind words for Mistryl, who's tirelessly devoted herself to this community and at many times done the job of an entire team of OCRs all by herself.
But mostly, thank you all. Lineage II has been a great experience, and with such experienced and talented team members manning the posts, I'm sure things will only get better and even more invigorated.
It's been an honor working for you guys and I hope you continue on to the next update and beyond, as Lineage II is just getting going. Take care and hug an elpy for me.
Rust, good luck in your new challenge whatever it is, its always good to see "fresh blood" working on a project, but also its always Sad see someone from the beginning leaving...

Don't worry too much. Ornery's been here longer than I ;)
Nooooooooooooooo :( Don't leave us Mistryl. You've been such an awesome community manager. It was such a short notice for leaving, I hope everything is ok and that life brings you fortune wherever you decide to go.
Grats to Tim and Sam on their promotion and good luck to RustNC in your future endeavours.
It has been a pleasure working with both Rust and Mistryl all these years. I wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors. Their hard work has helped make Lineage II as a product and community grow and prosper.
I also want to assure everyone that the Lineage II team is still going strong and is focusing their efforts on continuing and growing the product. We have a lot of plans for the rest of the year. New content, contests, and in game events to name a few. In the coming weeks I'll be making a full vision post to let everyone my views on certain subjects and how I see the direction of the product going. Omega will be taking over a lot of my previous duties and will follow with some information on the new in game events we have planned.
Happy 3rd Anniversary Lineage II. Goodbye to old friends, and hello to the new and exciting things to come.
There will be a new Community Manager for Lineage II. :)
I think we were looking for *who* (and I wonder if they have big feet to fill those big shoes of yours :)) You both will be extremely missed in this community.
Kelly,
It's been a pleasure working with you. You are an outstanding community manager and someone that I enjoyed working with. Your dedication to the community was apparent in everything you did and the way you really worked to make everyone a part of Lineage II.
I do hope that I'll be working with you again in this small world of MMO games that we are a part of.
~Seri
P.S.: Make sure to thwap the QA guy who killed me on the final day of Chaos Week on your way out :)
Omega, Ornery, I look forward to seeing what you have planned for us for the duration of your time in the hot seats. You already know we are picky and fickle, so I hope you are both up to the challenge.
(Ornery, I know you've been working events for a while, so I have faith in you. Don't disappoint.)
Why is just when i finnaly get warmed up to a CM they up and leave :-) I must be cursed. lol
GL to Mistryl and Rust in wherever you go and whatever you do. Thanks mistryl for helping me keep my sanity and my friends through my temporary permement ban lol Also thanks for being an understanding and great CM.
All these changes is Spam still going to be in charge of the GMs or are there changes there also?
There will be a new Community Manager for Lineage II. :)
Ash, Sarge, Mistryl. All gone.
Don't think I'm not sad. And Rust gone!
It's like mommy and daddy went out to buy some smokes and left Swanson Frozen dinners in the fridge, a "Fifty" on the table and paid the cable bill 'till the end of the month.
I'm so bummed. :(
Good Luck though. Pursuit of Happiness is vital and Quality of Life is "Key".
And of course special thanks to Mistryl for her assistance on my contest movie; sending the music files I didn't know how to decode, special boosts to get 5 badly outdated 2nd class change guides updated to C5, and of course the very very generous assistance on the past two public test servers :)
Wow, sorry to see you go Mistryl, and good luck! I may have only recently made my own account on the boards, but I've been watching for quite a while. It'll be a little odd not seeing your name not popping up here and there.
A sad day to see you both leave. Best wishes to you both as you travel whatever road lies ahead.
To paraphrase G'Kar; the Universe changes in moments of revelation, and moments of transition. We don't know what the future will hold, but we know it is always born in pain.
This is a painful transition for all us players. I hope the future will treat you as well as you both deserve.
I hope the next community coordinator is as personable and dedicated to the players as Mistryl was, sad to see her go. Rust as well, best wishes in whatever comes next.
Congratulations to the new wearers of the daddy pants, I hope they washed those before passing them on.
Woah, what will i do without Mistryl ?
Anyway, the new guy or girl in town will have very big shoes to fill, so... welcome and good luck in advance ! :p
Thank you Mistryl for your tireless devotion to this community, and a special thank you from the Roleplayers of L2. Your attendence at the wishing well was always such a wonderful event. Thank you for making the Test server Wishing Well event a blast! Good luck in your future. I know you will bring sunshine with you where ever you go.
Well im sorry to see some of the old guys go but i am looking forward to Onery's "full vision post" to see if there will be many changes to the way L2 is run to pull out L2's full potential, and it's direction in the future.
Cya Mistryl and Rust, good luck, maybe we will meet again in another game ^^
I'm sorry to hear that some old school LII Icons are leaving, but such is life :)
Things come and things go, we treasure the moments spend and keep the memories alive.
Thank you to everyone who have strived to make LII the game it is and to keep this Community as vivid as it is.
Mistryl, you will be greatly missed as CM of these boards. It's been a pleasure and an honor to have you in our midst and I wish you as well as your other leaving coleague all the best for the future.
Sorry to see you go Mistryl. I know you will be leaving with tears instead of cheers from this community. Good luck to you in what you choose to do next. We hope you still come by and post in the future as a gamer and give us your thoughts from that perspective. We Will Miss You!
Good Luck to you Rust, you left some big shoes to fill. You have always done a great job towards this game even though it might not always sound like it on the forums.
To the new Community Manager - Don't drop the soap in Cell Block G (Gustin). Good Luck!
Unlike most here I never missed any of the CM's going.
But maybe that's me. I tend to not get involved with CM's in the first place as I see them as people that should do the job they were hired for. To me a good CM sticks around for more then 1 year and give good feedback to the community or whatever they are supposed to do. The fact that people leave for another (better) job is however equally understandable.
Note: I am not ranting here, just being frank and practical.
I have but 1 request for the CM:
Update the website if possible. Maybe it's me but I like to get the lasted info via the official channels rather then via 3rd party forums (and those forums are good no doubt there but also more prone to speculations) as it would indicate to me a great involvement with the game in general.
Noooo just when I started to know where the y and i go in your name, you up and leave!!! Ohhhh the Orokanity!
It's been great getting to know you on the PTS and I had a great time at all your events. You were one heck of a community manager, the first one who was versed enough in the art of torture to provide us with some info ahead of time. Other CMs just couldn't squeeze any info out of the dev teams / etc :)
I don't say this often of elves, but you were one cool elf ^^
May Pa'agrio grant you his strenght, wisdom, tact, protection, glory, blessings, haste, vision. May he grant the use of his eye, his soul, his heart and his fists, and perhaps even bestow some of his rage. May you hold his emblem high and may he bring many victories to the many things you will undertake in the future.
:(
Good luck to Mystril to whatever you'll be doing next, I consideryou bext CM so far I have experienced :)
(yeah I will learn how to write your name one day :p )
GL to Rust, if you got "distant calling" that you need to go, grab the chance :) hope to see you in another awesome project.
Cant really add anything new, you both will be severely missed. It's funny, when your playing/communicating with the same people every day, you really do feel it when there no longer around.
I wish you both t he best of luck on whatever you do.
****, both of you at once. I can say I knew Mistryl from Lineage 1, that is a long time.
You did an awsome job here and your input will be missed. I hope your next job is better and that you will think fondly of us and you stay with us here.
On a side note, has anyone considered with the recent news out of NcSoft that there may be bigger things happening there. We have seen some serious losses to just our side of the pond in Austin. Imagine when all those people walked out when they let go of the Lineage 3 leader.
Hummmm...
Off-topic but... the world certainly doesn't lack for programming talent looking to get into the video game industry... Im sure NCSoft will recover just fine.
I'm done playing L2, had my acc hacked again and NCsoft wont get my my gear back. And I don't feel like wasting my time waiting fo rthe cops to take 6 months or more for it.
I hope to see lots of L2 peeps in Aion, and I'm playing GW's atm which is funner then L2...a nice break.
I hope to see Omega on the pts some more, when the kamael is out.
My private messages are now turned off, and it's time to say goodbye! Thank you to everyone for your support of the community during my time here. Every post, suggestion, piece of feedback, and comment has been a pleasure to read, and always appreciated. Except the ones in the Gustin forum. Just kidding. :p
If you have a question or concern about the official message board until the new Community Manager introduces themself, please use the "Ask a Question" link in the Support Center (http://www.plaync.com/us/support/prod_10.html) for assistance.
Also, try to take it easy on Ornery, Omega, and spam as they keep an eye on the board. :)

Your appreciation nourishes me, nom nom nom.
Where is that parchment art again, I wanted to make one for the Interlude PTS but couldn't find it.
Sam Han, Tim Tan. Hmm. You guys should hire Jim Lee and form a triumvirate of six lettered names. I actually wanted to get Jim Lee to draw my L2 character, I even had a reference, but he was only doing stuff he knew.
