so im kind of new and was wondering what should i be, ok i want to want on teams and be able to take a lot. which is better a puller or a tank? and what type?
Warlords(human pole user) is just great good fun,depends on a good healer and buffer plus other dd's to help.Destroyer(Orc pole user or two handed weapon master) is very popular due to the various abilities this character can do,and they just look mean:) The Warsmith or BH(Drawf) pole user is good stuff, but he can't hold agro so ppl playing with him/her have to be careful.Tanks like the Paladin,SK<and TK are built to take the hits and you could pole with them but they have masters for the sword/blunt weapons. They can do a good job of taking down a mob if dressed like a dd's but then you will have to have two types of equipment in case ppl want a tank for a raid,and very few groups will let two tanks join in. This is kinda silly but its the truth.
hmm maybe glad is something for you they can take a hit and are DD :) and are welcome in partys plus you got a ranged atk for those pesky archer and nukers
I don't think tanks are good pullers, they might be after 60 where they get aegis(exclude DA) but i doubt they can pull as many as a warlord and because lack in masteries they don't make enough of VR even with pole(and without their shield they don't have p.def).
Tanks are not very popular for teams but poler are very popular.I had tank and switch to warlord because i couldn't find party. With warlord people beg to get in my party.
Only use of a tank is for raid boss.
