Here is the question:I play a SE as main now he is at 54lvl i want lvl him up duo with a melee class that i will make in 2nd accound first oop and when melle reaches his lvls in party. so which melee could me the best for duo until the highest lvls?
I agree with Nifera on the BD. I have a main BD and she was very easy to level with the aid of my PP (SE is just as good if not better because of VR) upto 52.
BH with a pole, might as well make some money while you are at it.
Pole is probably good also, but id say go Destroyer or Warlord for that. And i also dont know how viable this method is with only 1 poler and SE at later levels.

If you are going to box then gladiator, good p.attack and can take a lot of damage. or destroyer very good p.attack and you can turn to pole if needed.
If meelee, I would go with dagger or BD. But any class that hits and crits makes use of VR.
The BD gets my vote. It's just more fun to play than the AW, in my opinion. (That's probably because there are so many more dagger resist mobs in the game.)
A destro is good because once you stop being able to pole with just your main's buffs - you can just make him a massive assistant single-target DD for yourself.
Because of course no way in hell can the SE be main if someone is boxing.
That is the exactly the attitude that gets in party buffers replaced by OOP boxes. A DD is much easier to control through macros than an active healer/buffer/whathaveyou.
Only once a melee starts doing things like pulling and CC does it require active attention - and then, if you're boxing a destroyer as an SE, it should be no problem to find a pole group with a different puller.
Best way is to keep your prophet's window active and simply run your archer off two macros:
/target Proph
/target Proph
and
/target Proph
/assist
/attack
That is all he has to do anyway. :p Since the archer is faster, the AF that way around is easier, and your prophet should have no trouble rooting things so you don't have to kite. ^^
go with a glad, that way you can polearm as much as you can, and still beable to level normally if needed. plus you'll be a beast in pvp at later levels.
take it from someone who has done this...blade dancer or tyrant are the way to go. tyrant way out damage BD, and good aoe exp is hard to come by in a duo

Tyrant WAY outcosts a BD also :p. the difference is rediculus(sp?).
Tyrant have only light armor as daggers. Believe me when i say this hurts alot after lvl60+. Daggers and tyrants can kill mad fast thou so the xp is really good anyways. BDs pdef doesnt increase much either compared at the higher levels.
Also healers cant be OOP boxxed, thats why DDs are used as mains more often even if they are easier to box.
To those saying go that i t will rock in pvp or something... her main is the SE, name the class that will lvl the SE fastest, that is melee. Doesnt matter if its good at pvp or anything.
I will recommend to do a destroyer, they are actually really cheap to level, you can easily get it to B grade doing pole and save a lot in shots after that you can either continue poling or go with a sword for massive damage and good exp.
anybody who says other classes besides BD or tyrant is obviously just guessing and should shut up. yes a dagger can out damage either one, but only with bd/sws buffs etc. I assume you will do most of your leveling with ONLY the melee+SE, in which case you should go BD or Tyrant.
as for the cost of tyrants, when you are the only person in the party you get all the money back, and it takes the same number of hits kill the mob as on a BD...........
tyrant will give you the fastest exp, the soonest but in later levels it is a toss up between hex+heavy armor or bison if you know how to use it effectively
