DYES

Hi, im a Level 52 Spellhowler, i have purchase +4INT -4MEN DYES x 10, When i take them to the symbol maker i click on the dye i wish to create, before you actually make the tat, it shows you the changes to your basic menu, i see the -4MEN change but the INT only goes up by 2 and not 4, why is this?

Do you already have another tatoo that gives +3 to Int? If so, you can't go over +5.

You can apply the tatoo but it will only give you the additional +2 to make you +5 Int. Not based on level, just the way it works.

The entire minus part will work however. O.O Might want to swap that tatoo for a +2-2 instead.

lol just joking. It is a cap for all players of all lvls, you can not increase your base stats more then 5 but you can decrease them as much as you want.
(Ex. Lets say you bought (30) +4 Int -4 Men, if you put them all on you would end up with +5 Int and -12 Men. Don't ask me why you would do this, just know that you can.)

No, but you can always get Demon Set (now) or Nightmare Set (at 61), if you want more damage. Check the library to see the pros and cons of each set.

also, a bw robe set comes with +3WIT, would i be able to get a +5WIT tat and it give me the full +5 ontop of the +3 from the bw??
Or if that doesnt work what about a ava set with 15% cast speed and a +5WIT would i get the full +5?

the max you can have from dyes is +5 but that doesnt include armor bonii

No there really isn't. You can get +5 / -5 but you have to use a combination of two different tats to achieve it ie +4 /-4 and a +1 /-1

you can purchaase some +4 / -5 and +4 /-6 though from the NPC shops, not that I recommend it

and +3 +2 is usually a cheaper option then +4 +1
