When I attempted to report a bad user (third party program) today I got an open chat message "811;Sea of Spores" the same thing happened on a different char in Blazing Swamp. I was thrown out of the petition window when this happened. the system seems to be caught in a loop. why cant I report bots?
BTW, when I went in to make a suggestion, I was referred to the Q&A on the main website. So I checked and most of the petition options say go to the website. Why isnt there an in-game petition system? Or, maybe the question should be why even bother pretending there is one? Maybe just a general statement: if you have a problem, go to website"...Even when the system worked you are allowed so few characters that you cant do what the petition asks and "give a detailed description" ... get real.
Oh, but it doesnt stop there. If you have a technical issue, which you must go to the website to report, you have three options on the Forums: 1)technical issues on client side 2)questions about the PTS or 3)questions about the forum itself. This makes me think of how it must be to live in an authoritarian dictatorship. If they dont want to help you, they make it impossible for you to get help.
yeah... i know more than you can imagine... I have a shaman with 8 pks thanks to my anger at L2 over this issue.
Some have told me that the only way is for many players to complain over and over about the same bots. I dunno. maybe thats a myth, like the one about enchanting weapons at the church. LOL
Why do we even play this game? Two answers for me: 1) boyfriend insists on being here and if i want to be with him I play it and 2) Im addicted to my characters.
Im just desparate I guess and still knocking my head against a wall. Who needs a red player because of frustration? What other game hates its players this much?
God, Boyfriend, find a real game where the developers want you to have real fun and are generous to the players.
petitioning does work. But it's not instant. Don't expect results right away. They did a mass ban there a couple of months ago, and then a couple of months before that. It seems they ban account every few months...just keep petitioning and they will get banned
They do the bans en masse every month. I know... because I hear their cries all the time in L2Blah.
As far as the petition system.. it's a bug... but you don't need those sub categories to make a petition. Just type in your report and submit... that's all you need.
