Every time I try to report a suspected user of a third party program I get an open chat message "811;(location of player). I am thrown out of the petition window and no petition is entered.
Is this a bug? If so, when will it be fixed? In the meantime, how do I report a suspected third party program user? I come to the forums and the options for help are 1)client side 2)PTS or 3)forum questions.
Bots are like the most discussed issue in the game on Lionna. If L2 is really interested in removing third party users, why isnt it much, much easier to report them? and why when you can get thru is it a generic, computer generated message and no report of progress or resolution?
These bots have names that are incomprehensible or outright admissions that the bot is a bot, used for a particular function in a commercial bot group. L2 is a sophisticated computer program. What's the problem in identifying and stopping bots? It looks like the problem is really that L2 has no interest in stopping bots.

The 811 then location only started happening since interlude. To fix it selected a diff issue, away from bad user then go back and re select bad user-illegal programme use and it works fine.

they only ban bots that do RB 24/7 for weeks straight that kind of thing really importent things only then they kind of ban

i freaking reported them 4 months ago and tehre stil there now cmon thats not the way it should be now is it :/ if you let that kind of behavior accur then more and more are comming (we have seen taht by now :/)
lol after 2 years maybe :< just takes 2 long plus its ******* ppl off if you come back few months later and the freaking SAME bot is still there and you prob arent the only 1 that reported him
Consider too that bots are banned, then their operators buy new accounts and, lacking creativity, mash the keyboard again for a name, so it either looks similar or is identical.
I'm not saying that it's perfect. It could be faster. But consider this:
Catch the bot, or catch the bot master? Ban one, or find out who he trades everything to and catch them all?
