Yes if your boxed healer is doing something without you actually pushing the buttons, or use of ingame macros. What would be the difference of running a bot compared to what you described? Automating gameplay is illegal.
That is assuming if your healer is actually doing something without you actually controlling it.
yeah i box up to 4 toons on my one computer... if i miss pms on one cause i'm focused on the main DD, instead of my buffer ( which i only see the screen of like ever 15minutes) that's all i can do. I see my screen all the time, the BD every 2 minutes, healer very rarely, and buffer every 15-20minutes. If i miss a GM pm, that's all i can do.
well like i said, if they pm my buffer... i probly won't see it at all.. with all the clan/ally/shouts/hero/party chat going on... my screen is filled in like 5 seconds... i miss alot of pms on my main too...

although a nostromo has already been confirmed to be legal as long as you're at the computer.
oops think some of you might have misunderstood
i dont mean fully nostromoing her so she buffs every 20 mins or whatever
i mean pressing a button on the gamepad when i need a heal or recharge or whatever
problem is because of the setup of my network comp the best i can manage is to stretch the gamepad all the way across the room so i cant see the other screen
risky?
i could also throw a pair of speakers on the other computer
does anyone know if a gm msgs you if it makes a noise or anything?
Enyway ... ever considered getting another table and some power extension cord?
yeah just not practical because of the way the room is set up (multiple doorways)
thats why i ask the question and just hoping to get some feedback from someone who has spoken to a real gm lately
Nostromo is a programmable joypad that you can set buttons like f-keys.
And from what I heard from people who got banned in the last year or so, GMs don't usually bother doing bot-checks, probably because non-afk bots would more often than not pass the test. If you behave like a bot you get banned, if not they dismiss the petition.
Haven't heard of anyone getting a GM pop-up in regards to botting since like C3 and in that time I've been in many clans and seen some clannies getting banned. Even had a clan leader getting banned while he was offline.
edit: I guess what you should be more scared of are players (such as ennemies) who would report you continually than GMs themselves.
LOL if that whas trhough there wouldnt be a Syndicate( main ally that got all castles and no1 likes them they botted there chars when the server whas up) here on our franz server :P
