Best DPS PVE duo

I've been thinking about Warcryer and Blade Dancer or Shillien Elder and Spellhowler? What do you think? Perhaps another better combo? Ocasionally a Bounty Hunter will join.
Only selfbuffs (no clan buffs), as little SS as possible and without pots.

SE and SH is an awesome PvE duo.

No SS? Then Warcrier and BD.

Spellhowlers not willing to go for two-shot kills are asking for trouble.

Bounty Hunter won't do anything but leech when added to SH+SE duo. No range, no ability to reaggro, and not enough time to land Spoil before the mobs are dead.

But they bring Adena.

They don't. They have no time to spoil a mob, it dies too fast.

They do, let the **** dwarf spoil before killing it.. ^^

If they have dwarf spoil before killing, they lose their range 900 benefits.

wc+bd however vr 3 is very late when it comes with wc....sooo maybe pp+bd ?
and bh is good in non range party...

Didn't say without, just with as little as possible in other words that something will be left for equipment when leveling.

I know that seems to be the problem, the other is if BD has enough mana to keep dances up without resting. The annoying one is there is no WW.
But on the other hand BD and WC seems more fun to play while SE and SH can be rather boring (at least for a SE).

Does SH + SE more DPS then BD + WC?

go with a BD & SE, SH does more dps while they have mp, and the se can only recharge till their out of mp then you have to sit down for a few minutes

BD & SE can continue leveling with out rest.

SH has BtM and CLD, SE has Invocation. It would be very hard to run them out of MP, even in places that don't drop herbs.

I agree. If you want DPS, leave the BH at home.

Unless the BH has an augmented weapon that gives 900 Spoil Range and Acumen to boot. :D

You people have obviously never seen duo Phantom Summoners go at it eh? Soulless x 2 and the two summoners with duels or daggers, hexing cubics and stunning cubics firing off every 10 seconds...

SH+SE is the fastest duo in the game (SH+necro being the second fastest).

I want to try a SH+PP duo though. Zerk2 might be enough to still be able to 2 shot.. while herbs compensates for the lack of recharge (though b2m+clearmind+herbs is usually enough to stay up indefinately). Blesses... acumen 3... zerk... the rest of their buffs... with the right OE weapons... SH+PP sounds pretty **** on paper.

Blesses help a bunch with herbs as well, but I doubt zerk alone is enough.

I'd personally reckon given their basic setup the SH/SE route is inadvisable, since the group setup would cripple either BH or SH in the long run.

So I'd go with [WC/SE]/[BD/DD]

My SH keeps an SE and PP in tow. I love having access to both sets of buffs all at once.

Maybe it's all psychological, but with just the PP, I'm more mana conscious than I am when hunting with the SE.

And EMP is a great security blanket. You'll need a fairly high m.atk weapon and possibly even Demon or Nightmare to hunt with just Zerk2.

Nah.. it's all in where you hunt. I soloed (aka without emp or herbs) all the way to 6x on my first SH... and when we first got VOS.. she was able to 2 shot without emp (And I was using tallum robes and +3 dasparion staff at the time). All things considered (DC robe set and +3 som now)... I am not positive that I could go all the way to 7x with a PP in tow~

wc+bd is a perfect combo early as well as late game.

If u decide to party them up you can see yourself in nearly every type from raids/rift/seige pvp u name it those two duo are a perfect marrage to partys.

Heck even if u end up making them buffer bots for ur archer partys they rock. Low maint quick buff and dance deployment is invaluable.

DC mass gate skill is godly.
