XP loss on death 76+

Ok, a while back I posted in the PTS forum about XP loss on 77

A few days ago we did hero rift, and the boss killed me during the fight, I took a SS before and after the brez:

As you can see, I lost exactly 2.50% on a full death on 76. So for the pts post, I think I lost more because I fall down the lvl wall.

Can anyone confirm these % values? Also I would like to ask that ppl 76+ take a SS when they die, so we can find the lossvalues for 77/78/79/80.

im gonna try and compile this info next week and forward it to stratics
just need someone i know to hit 79 and take a death and for my lvl 80 buddy to get enough xp he doesnt delvl
i do however still need the lvl 76 and 77 info if anyone can let me know

im assuming pvp death is still 1/4 the amount of what was once called a 4%er so
lvl 78 clan war death is .18% loss after clan hall rez = .36% loss on clan death = 1.44% xp loss on a 4% death

i still need lvl 77 data and if anyone on gustin is willing to take one for the team ive got a free brez for ya

As for the numbers... this is what we gathered.

76= 2.5%
77=2%
78=?

I can't really tell any more though... since we got clan luck since then.... and nobody looks at their exp before they get their 90% rez.

78 = 1.5%

78 = 1.5%

i calculate it at 1.44%

I'm very sure I lost 1.5% when I died at 78, and I lose exactly 1.00% at 79 on death.

76 = 2.5%
77 = 2.0%
78 = 1.5%
79 = 1.0%

That would fit a patter, yes. Like ppl keep sayin SS or it never happen, I will take a death and a brez once im 77 (shouldnt take long, im close).

What about 80? 0.5%?

War Death 78 = 1.50% * 0.25 = 0.375%

CH rez (50%) on War Death = 0.375 * 0.50 = 0.1875

The difference between your 0.18 and the static 0.1875 is just 0.0075. Not sure how L2 does the roundings, but this seems pretty close together ^.^

L2 follows normal rounding rules which is why you can have a displayed XP of 100.00 but not have achieved level up yet.

Now can someone tell us how much luck lvl 1 and 2 takes off at those levels, under those conditions?

What about 80? 0.5%?

Not sure exactaly what 80 is yet, but it's not .5%. I died and went from .89% to 99.89%, which is a 1% loss BUT I also deleveled, so it's probably a bit less than 1%

Our level 80.00 WL died on purpose to see how much exp 80>81 would take. He died at 0.00%, went to 96.00% this is before Interlude hit.

i had the loss put firmly at .18 after clan hall rez so i guess it just comes down to how NC wants to round up or down

if he died right at 80.0 he should have lost somewhere in the region of 6% of lvl 79

Actually L2 doesn't round off the %s, it works with raw exp directly, so in the end it's only really a question of rounding off 1 exp, which, in the grand scheme of things, doesn't matter much at that level ^^

You need the same amount of xp for 80 as for 79lvl afaik. so 4% before intrlude is correct

i thought 80 was the usual 50-60% more than the previous lvl
didnt check the lvl wall chart but its a fair assumption considering thats what happens every lvl after 75

79->80 is 3-4 times harder than 78->79
80->81 = 79->89

Might just be me but compared to the experience at 79, the experience at 80 seems about the same. I have enough to die and see how much it takes, just need to die now. Don't you worry, it is bound to happen soon enough! :p

so this raises an interesting question
if you lose even less xp at 80 than you do at 79 then a lvl 80 dude would lose proportionally less xp than a lvl 79 (possibly less than 78 O.o )

both 80lvl dude and 79lvl dude lose 1% in normal death, so they lose the same not less

thats the info for stratics or whoever to use so unless someone disagrees thats what ill be assuming for now

It makes more sense for lvl 80 to be .75 or .5% loss from this information. Is there any good proof that a lvl 80 loses the same as a lvl 79?

I wouldn't even stay at 80... I'd get the fusion skill and not care about keeping lvl 80 status.

and no it doesnt make sense that lvl 80 loses less xp since they dont have to gain anymore xp than 79

if it followed the same trend and you only lost .5% at 80 then proportionally you would lose the same xp at 80 that you lost at 79 but the xp gain would be the same (thus making xp at 80 easier than 79)
