If im not mistaken the trial buddy code is the cd key code that requires you to purchase more time unless u have an additional time card.
The new epic collection comes with a security code as well as a limited time code + a trial buddy code.
If you have trouble finding these epic collections then I belive the download tab on the right sends u to a site where u can purchase a cd code when u download it.
If u have a buddy who plays the game ask him to borrow his cd. Not sure if it voids game contract for borrowing a buddys cd might have to double check that when u install the game.
Safest bet is go to the source to nc support to inqure more about the cd key code surprizingly they actually pretty usefull.
