I know most of their skills, especially at higher levels, require duals. They do have some skills that use a blunt or sword to though. At lower levels (C Grade) they seem to be as strong, or stronger, than the dual sword skills.
So I was wondering if anyone had tried leveling a Glad using a two hander until they hit B grade, or longer? Would I just be wasting SP if I took the sword/blunt masteries and Fatal Strike? Glad is one class I've never really tried, not even on the test server LOL, so I'm kinda clueless when it comes to them. :confused:
Two Handed swords are good to have. If you got a Focus one its really good to PvE with. You can use most of the fairly high damage skills and it doesnt waste SS like duals do. I tried the low A grade with focus sword on my duelist, for PvE its nice but if you intend to PvP use duals
For C grade a 2 handed sword might work OK for PvE.
I would say when you hit B grade, and DEFINITELY A grade that Duals are the way to go. Triple Sonic Slash is crazy powerful, and most of your powerhouse skills will be dual related. Also, when you are B grade, I am pretty sure with your masteries duals actually give you more P.attk. Not to mention you get two swings per Soul Shot.
I guess a simple point would be, if 2-handed swords were better, you would see a lot more gladiators with them, instead of duals.
