Prophet's equip

Hi,
I'm playing a prophet now, lvl 52, can wear B gears now. Between Avadon robe and BW light armor set, which one is better for a pp?
Also if I want a faster casting, what tatoo should I do? Is it +Men?

+WIT for faster casting. Gear depends on your playstyle really...I've never played a pp so I will let someone else answer that part (:

Small Groups:
Avadon Robe Set :: Acumen Sword

Larger Groups:
BW Robe Set :: Acumen or Mana Up Weapon

Solo:
Anything You Like :: Bow, Pole, Duals, Dagger...Continue...

All prophets I know wear BW robes for the extra MP and casting speed (with +3 WIT it has almost the same effect on c.speed as avadon's 15%). AS for weapons, avoid pole and bow since you get a penalty in accuracy for using them.

Your equipment, for solo or for groups, may depend on your playstyle and the group/place you are going to.
The prophet is a very versatile character, so you may find it to use almost any type of equipment in the game.
The advice I give you is to lend the equipment of your friends so you can test them.
But don't use avadon... What a prophet needs is MP, and the bonus cast from the BW robe set is higher than avadon's.

Accuracy, castingspeed, attackspeed...and the acc nerf is the worse

Thank you all for fast reply. I think I'll go for BW robe then since I'm always in a party and my main role is to buff and do a bit extra dmg when needed, not major dd tho

I am quite certain it's accurcy (-8) and I think it is also attack speed. I doubt it affects casting speed (although not sure).

It DOES affect casting speed and attack speed and accuracy.

Either way duals or dagger, and a mysterious sword with acumen for when you feel your buffing is going too slow. ^^

Armour set I'd say BW robes since you can use the heavy in smaller groups for full damage effect without buying too many extra parts.

Get used to avoiding large groups like the plague early on or you will soon find yourself getting up once every 20 minutes. x.x

if you do need to buf a whole group the combination of a homu conversion & when mp used homu acu ensures fast buffing, most prophets I know only use a homu acu but for lower lvls the conversion really helps with the mp.

Buffing at low levels is no problem since you don't have expensive buffs. x.x But I'm starting to feel MP getting tighter and tighter these days.

Regardless, Staggering >>>>>> Conversion.
