Holy weapon

Is it a disadvantage to have HV if there are Angelic mobs too?
I mean do i do less damage on angelic if i have HV.

Not as bad as it used to be in for example WoA.. 2.5k patk, grats you hit an angel for 50dmg! weee took a while to kill that one..

This foobars pretty many hunting spots where you could have used HV if there were no angels.
Are there any non-angel areas where there are sacred weaks ?
Like LoA has to be one.. but err my chars aren't quite there yet

All angel/holy type mobs have Holy resist, basically every catacomb except for in Dawn periods have mobs with resists. So you have to choose to take HW according to mobs, or just ignore holy type mobs if you can for optimum speed :>

Thats just like playing a dorf, heh, attack a mob, go grab a cup of coffee, come back to find you're still fighting that same mob, lol

That is actually what i am doing. I noticed some mobs took as long as the hockey periods to kill after i buffed HV, while some others died faster

That is why Holy Weapon can only be cast on party members now. You used to be able to cast it on anyone and it was a (mild) griefing technique used by evil Bishops. They would find naughty 'players' hunting angelic mobs and cast Holy Weapon and 'Zerk on them then heal the mobs until it was time to pick up the drops. Ahhh...the good old days!

Forest of the Dead is not an area completely full of undead mobs. The bloated corpses are not weak to sacred attacks, nor are the spiders nor bats nor floating heads.
