After seeing many posts about the loss of specific boards for WTB/WTS trades, I have developed my own forum for these sales. The forum has the same look and feel as these official boards and no pvt rubbish will be tolerated.
All the official servers are catered for so whether you are a Bartz Hero or a Franz newbie, you can find what you want here. All Lineage II players from any of the servers are welcome to join and the more that do, the more likely you are to sell that Life Stone or Spellbook ! I have actually paid money to stop the google ads. I had hoped this would have been in place before going live but the bank holiday weekend has scuppered those plans. I've just been talking to proboards staff and they are on the case. I can only apologise for their presence.
What browser are you using please ?
Firefox has known issues with some javascripts.
I had set the background as black to allow for larger screens. I designed the boards on a bigger res than yours yet missed it. Thanks for the input.

I'm running 1600x1200 on Firefox and it doesn't look good. The background image of the dwarf is left-justified on about 2/3 of the screen, leaving white space on the right side. The forums are centered, and overlap onto the white space by about 2 inches. Changing the white to black would help a lot.
You can look in the built-in Error Console of Firefox. They don't make this up, the displayed errors are violations of HTML standards. Today even Microsoft accepts the W3C recommendations, so sites with hacks may work only for limited time. Also use a HTML validator: http://www.validome.org/lang/en
A marketplace without certain ads is a good idea. We will see how it develops.

Yep, I'm looking at it right now and downloading Firefox to get that view too.

I have finally resolved the white background issue.
Although the background was set as black, a line elsewhere was setting the background as transparent. This was over-riding the black.
It should hopefully be sorted now.

If ur forum will become popular, it become mess.
IMHO need some Rules, like how Thread title must look like.
And WTB/WTS should be in defferent places.
For example
I thought about having seperate WTB and WTS sections for each server. I have stated about how to head posts.
I can add extra sub boards if the need arises but at the moment I'd rather it becomes established.

After some comments here I've gone back to my original plan of seperate boards for each trade type within each server board. I've also added a clan section for each board too.

I'd not really thought about people being worried about visiting the site. A bit naiive of me I suppose. Maybe the name does look like one of "those sites".

Hopefully everyone would use different access codes to their main L2 accounts than those created for my or any other forum. It can be a pain remembering them all but its worth it.
If people don't use different codes then I recommend they do so. Atlease make the password different !

You can set the colour of text by highlighting it and then selecting the "Color" drop down menu above and to the right of the message box. Scroll down to the required color and select it. On release, it will set the colour. You can edit the post and use the same procedure.
You can do all this manually by surrounding the text with UBB color tags.
UBB tags are also available in signatures.

Interesting idea.
Perfectly feasible and that might well be something for the future.
We'll see how the standard board approach develops first. If I have enough takers with the current format then your idea will get some serious consideration.

Hindemith server boards seem the most popular but Kain has zero posts. Strange.
After the initial flurry of interest, things have settled down. After less than two weeks we have 50 signed up members and more that view. So to get this figure up into the hundreds and make the place work I need another mass signing spree :)
Spread the word in game on your server. I have been shouting ingame in various locations but my voice is now sore lol.
More members means more chance of a successful trade so grab them by the shirt collar and get 'em to sign.
Come on guys n gals, list some WTS on my site to shift some of those L2 scrolls !

Well thanks to the fantastic gesture by Alyra of the inclusion of my site on the July newsletter we have nearly reached 200 members.
