The bot thing. NC doesn't let select people bot. Some people are just much better about not getting caught. Not only that but because our playerbase is incredibly lazy there's always a market for characters and money.
Also, there are tons of high level hunting places, God forbid you should have to compete with other players on occasion.
seems odd how some players i know, after years of playing legit get banned in a few weeks, while bot trains i've been reporting for months are still there. I'm not talking about nostromo grps either. these have no collision detection and stand on top of each other.....
As for competing for hunting grounds, i guess you're suggesting i pk the bots. While this is one solution, it ends up costing me time with a sin eater, and leaves me vulnerable to being killed and dropping stuff until i get white again. From where i sit i would make more sense for ncsoft to enforce the rules.
Even so, the other questions should be answerable. i've been giving ncsoft money since L1. I'd just like to know why they haven't fixed stuff that's been around for several chronicles

Nice name btw, you don't really have a right to anything even if you pay. Vote with that paying money and stop paying if you don't get satisfaction, easy as that.

i'll try and answer them all, and i dont even work for them lol.
1. Certain bots make them a % profit selling adena.
2. Because Gameguard asumes or cant see your keyboard, thus booting you off the game. Logging back in fast will give you a keyboard error as proof.
3. Falling down is due to damaged game code, this happens to me even though the breath bar is up and i start to swim.
4. Gameguard is a Trojon software makes the owners have a sence of power to se whats on your computer, not to mention what passwords you type on your keyboard.Errors that you get are because your firewall or virus protector is doing its job and stopping information from your pc being transfered to there server.
5.Certian keyboard have been taken off the buy list sence the last few updates. your num pad might be feeling the effect of gameguard or if you run software for it try installing it again.
6. Anything deemded helpfull or good to the player on any online game is a NO NO.
7. 95% of the people you see selling or as you put it getting up are bots. There bot program after selling something resets there box. Some of them do it to look like there human and to prevent the disconect bug the game has if you say in one area for a long time.
7.more hunting areas= more updates which = more bugs =costing Ncsoft money to program it.
8. this is the easiest answer. why are there no gms in the game server. Its called Out sourcing, the gms are no where near a game server or have the means to enter it. Thus the reason why your first question is allowed to continue to.
Note" if i was a Gm i would walk through all the cats, then all the newbie towns. then i would do a drag and click with all them 2000 bots place them in a perm jail waiting for there so called investagation. Sence thats responsable action it can never happen.
The reason your keyboard enter key doesnt' work is because they made it so that pressing enter keys no longer confirms any dialog box. It's inconvenient for shops but prevents auto accept or auto decline due to accidental typing issues.
the people standing around the gk are glitched. they have shops running i just don't see them sitting with marquees. if i port to mdt and back i can see them. easy work around but with so many things to work around it would be nice if they fixed the little ones.

if there is in fact a live gm on whichever server why don't we see more being done. I realize they don't want to mistakenly ban legit players, but come on...
If they "fixed" an issue with enter accidentally confirming things, great but i would hope that someone at ncsoft could look far enough ahead to see who the change might inconvenience, like say people who run multiple pc shops. resetting 60 items after every "connectivity issue" becomes a pain. a remember last shop checkbox would solve the problem and should have been implimented at the same time.
originally i wasn't a conspiracy theorist. i liked L1. I like L2 (the gameplay at least). But seeing the same bot grps in the same place after being reported over and over makes one suspicious.

1. Your question should be, "why do players cheat and why don't they all get banned?"
2. Why do you need to move so much--learn to be more contented with just standing still!
3. The cata floor underwater is STILL brick/block---duh! Of course it will hurt when you fall slowly through water to hit it....um, never mind.
4. You don't have to run gameguard, unless you want to play L2.
5. The number pad works fine, but not for L2 play. You should use the rest of the keyboard and a mouse.
6. There are many, many high level hunting areas--they just haven't been released to you yet--probably still paying the cheaper $15.00 per month rate, right?. There's a whole 'nother world out there...it just looks like water to you on your copy of the map. The rest of us hunt in those places all the time.
7. It's not generally acceptable to use the terms "live" and "GM" in a single sentence.

Somewhere after C4 but before C5 NCsoft Korea changed either the vision of the game or the competence of their developers team. They don't care of non-hardcore players anymore. And if you don't move or cast all the time, you aren't hardcore enough.

It's a feature intended for highlevel Destroyers ganking enemies in lowlevel catas. L2 is a PvP game, you know...

You've prolly never seen an Internet cafe if you are asking such a stupid question. GameGuard is here to protect cafe owners (which are the main paying customers for L2).

If you are hardcore enough, you must be able to type "lol noob<enter>" at any time, whatever popups currently are on your L2 screen, and not using macros (there are better ways to spend your macro slots).

Shops are for clan traders. Their l2 clients aren't got restarted. You don't want to setup shops in Internet cafes anyway.

It's a PvP game. If you need a hunting area, take it. If you cannot, you aren't hardcore enough.

Live GMs used to show up as Antharas, to buff Elpies with Freezing Skin lvl 100 an to do other nasty things. Not being able to cope with such behavior, NCsoft now allows live GMs only under direct supervision of higher management, which is not going to happen often as the management has other things to do.

I think you have a warped version of the law. You are paying to access and play the game. Can you? Yes you can.
If you could not log in, or got logged in and were frozen constantly, and they refused to help you, maybe you'd have a case.

I use 3 accounts. Two of the accounts have toons I often set to auto-follow using /target command (e.g. when I'm moving to a new location, normally they are just sitting down). I have noticed that quite often the two toons following me are standing right on top of one another. So it seems that this can happen using the L2 client when you multi-box.
What I find most interesting is that the location of each of the 3 characters is different on each of the three clients!

Actually ive been requesting the same thing, I have to setup my Private Craft shop every single night, would it be easier if we could get a "remember last shop" ... i know many o' dwarf who sets up the same shop every day.. oh well got to live without certain things :(
Most likely they let everyone bot, petition on the guys that you see boting, they will eventually get banned.

That is an old bug the devs still ignoring. I died some days ago becosue i falled and took 1 hit of a persuing mob. It was low but with 1 hp it's hard to avoid death.

Becouse people is stupid and like to put shops around the gk, on the stairs, under the portals so nobody can pass. Petition gms with the names of the guys, they will move the shops.

I happen to like the bots. I wouldn't be able to afford anything in the game if it weren't for them lowering the price of stuff. Plus they're a good source of entertainment :)

I think a high level hunting area has been added with every Chronicle.

There is a "Live" GM presence on all servers. Those "automated" answers you get... well they are not automated. You see if someone asks me a question I have not heard before they will get an answer I have never given. It would probably contain typos and as such it would be considered a "live" answer. But if you contacted me and said " I was on the Sword of solodarity quest and the window at the blacksmith was blank! what do I do?" I would say:

We have updated the quest. Now you just need to go to the Elven Ruins and hunt the Tunath Orc Marksman and Warriors to collect two items:
Broken Blade Top and Broken Blade Bottom.
Just go to the Elven Ruins now, no need to talk to Altran until you have collected the two items. The Quest Journal is not updated due to this bug so just ignore it and go hunt some Tunath Orcs.
