I read this somewhere:
Refinement Limitations
• The most number of refinement can be added to a weapon is 4
does that mean I can only try to augment my weapon 4 times and thats it? Has anyone tested this?

most refinements give 2-4 effects at a time; hp+/hpregen+/cp+/cpregen+/some passive or active skill. on dualswords 4 effects are very common.

btw do u know if i can get a lightning effect through a mid grade or an ordinary stone?

Yes, if its a purple or red effect.
The lightning effect will be very muted though, as opposed to if you used a HG or Top stone.

If you mean sparklies and flames, I know you can with Mid Grade. I'm not sure about non-grade.
