My necro is rapidly approaching 70's and I'm concerned where I can xp once I leave the happy VoS area?
I've tried FoD and Swamp of Screams and the XP in both places was horrible. I don't even want to think about Blazing Swamps. So I'm at a loss as to where I can go after 72 or whenever all mobs will be light blue to me in VoS.
this is the only downside to playing such an overpowered class 70+ is actually hard (well not its not but its harder than other mages)
really depends on your support but i recommend you stay at fod until i think its 73ish
there is a little spot near the bridge to SOS known as necro hill on my server
the second it turns night time cross the road and kill spiders at what is known as "fod rock"
night time is better xp than VOS but day time is about 10% less
after that you go and CDL at shrine of the loyal or bs
bs is 15% more xp than shrine is and only slightly more dangerous if you know what you are doing
and try and get your self a BTB staff if you dont have prophet or bd buffs
i went 74-75 in 3 days with a lvl 74 se and no BTB staff
edit: I don't know if that is considered fast "solo" but it is acceptable to me.
I am leveling the HE in the "bottoms" of BS now. Well, not really leveling, just hoping for more drops. But I cringe at the thought of returning to BS for a permanent grind at 1% every 40 minutes. Yech!!!
I get 2% per buff round in FoD with OOP prophet buffs at lvl 70. That's just beside the port in spot.. day or night.. WITH my golem out. If I can snag the vampire circle or the hill above I can get 2.5-3% per buff round.
