it lags + dc since start of interlude, hard to say if its the whole trial [censored] or IL...
this l2.exe crits very funny too...
(my record is 7 in 1 hour...)
i think its generally common knowledge that L2 crits so much more since Interlude, anyone have any ideas why?

I run my SE buffer on my 2 box, and sometimes when my main is in a 30-second spike, she is running fine.
I have controlled my main whilst looking at the SE's monitor. It seems as though the lag was local to the pc BUT only incoming stuff, all keystrokes/macros/skills on F keys ran ok and the toon reacted as if there was no lag..
Almost as if the graphics drivers got "stuck" for want of a better word.
I have seen on occasion a lag spike that lasts for 10-30 seconds and then all of the graphics/animations play catch-up at a super fast rate.
That looks almost as funny as a Dwarf Swordsinger singing.

I dunno Splatter, I was getting no lag on general surfing, the internet radio station I listen to was just fine, these here forums worked just fine. It was only the game connection that was an issue.

Yep. I did traceroutes to a variety of sites.. (cnet, cnn, etc) and they were all fine.
Was purely to L2's server an Shoutcast was working fine.
As a side note, its completely fine this morning. But last night you coudnt play if you wanted too it was so bad.
Yup, last night was so bad it took me an HOUR to get TWO items out of an alts WH, freighted and collected. Also, when I switched toons and opened my inventory, it showed the inventory of the first toon I was on. The servers were super nutty last night.
but sadly only for a few seconds.... (dupe ftw lol)
same happens to ur money.. sometimes u have 2 money piles in inventory.. but when u trade its away :( (shows alot! more than u have)
but the most annoying thing is that u cant enter on franz the 100th time last weeks...
(im atm not sure what me p1ss more off, the b0ts, the crit errors, the lag or just that no1 from NC cares and give a statement when we finally can play gain...)

I can't stay logged in on my sell shops. Grinding seems fine when I am playing with only a little lag issues. But for the last week or so I cannot stay in long enough to sell ANYTHING. really frustrating. The price of Maj circlet recipes is going down every day and I have 3 to sell..this is costing me real in game money!! :)
The lag is probably cause by some router somewhere along the line that's getting bottlenecked and flooded and whatnot. They just haven't figured that part out yet =P
im getting proper ****** off this [censored] crap service now, last night i told a gm there was a problem with the server, i got an essay back stating server was ok..
now i've just died on my SE level 73 to a level 50 mob, because i couldnt move, kill it, yet it was attaching me ok...
this is taking the piss for something we pay money for, if they don't get there head out there arses soon, i wil be making a formal complaint to fair trading standards.
Well, on a positive side note I have been having massive issues connecting to some particular other websites as well - chances are that indeed the servers are fine and the problem is somewhere on the way, but it would be worth finding out so you can tell your customers what's actually wrong. :p
Everything shares a connection. The internet isn't one big computer with all the information in the world. It's a global network of computers, routers and switches. In order to connect to the server, you probably go through several of these things before your signal reaches its destination.
But it seems like it is happening to everyone, so it might be malfunctioning hardware on NCSofts end. But then we won't know until a GM gives an update.
I hope they fix this by the time that I get home. I have to make B grade on the PR by Saturday, because Sunday is Mother's Day and I'll be away from the PC. Come on guys, hop to it!
Yes the lag was bad last night too - EURO servers got DC'd. Also I did chat with a GM about it (HGMSpam I hope you are reading this) and I had to LOL as what this person was telling me. He told me to delete my cookies and yes I got a screenshot of it. I'm in the process of putting all the SS of the conversation into 1 pic.. will upload and post it later.
But to be honest - Spam - you need to do some training with your GM team - the responses I got were not even close to being correct. I am not trying to be mean (because I run a Help Desk so I know the pain you go through), but I would never let my people give responses like I got last night.
