Earth magic

What exactly is earth magic in Lineage II? I have heard rumors that "root" and "decay" are considered eath spells, is this true? Are there any other forums of earth magic?

Just curious b/c sps get surrender to earth and surrender to wind increases you resistance to earth attacks and I am wondering how that helps exactly.... sword singers also have a spell to protect against earth attacks.

Yes, I think root counts, too, since it's full name is Dryad Root. Can't get more earthy than that. :cool:

Sleep is also considered a Earth skill. I'm not sure about Trance, though.

i've heard, but haven't tested that glad skills are earth based.

no... BDs do. Earth Guard. Song of Earth is to increase pdef.

"Hey, I got resistance to Dark..."
"Dude, F you... I'm resistant to Earth :/"
"At least you wont get Decayed... LOLLOL"

It's sacred.

Sleep, root and trance are all mental attack and have not relation to Earth magic. They are blocked by pure MDef and mental attack/hold resistances.

Let's face it surrender to earth is an useless skill.

I used to have a sorc friend who used to surr to earth and decay in pvp for pretty awseome effect. But that was C1/C2 before pots, so yea its probably useless now.

hmmm i know this isnt really what you guys on about but i feel that they should put down what kind of element the attack is next to it in game in next update i.e. whirlwind = air etc etc.

root, sleep, decay, freeszing flame(I think), gladi, destro/tyrant(w/o infernal form) are all earth attack.
