Shadow Weapons

So i have seen the shadow weapons and seen how cheap they are....I have a few understandings of them like: They are c and b grade weapons that have the same patk and matk as the "real" weapon and they cannot hold an SA. But i am kinda puzzled about how long they last and what they are really good for. I mainly want to know if it just something stupid or something that could actually be useful. Anyone know?

They last a certain amount of time, not how much you use them. Ive only used D grade so far, worked fine for me. Only draw back was they not Top D-C-B and i had to carry 3 of them to make my hunting trip worth while. Oh and dont go afk with them on or they be gone when you get back (Doh)

In short: Each 'point' of durability is worth 1 minute of time.

Time ticks down as long as the weapon is equipped, with each point being deducted at the start of the minute. Thus equipping one is -1 pt, and one minute later it is another -1 pt. (repeat as long as it is equipped.)

The weapons you 'buy' come with 300 pts, thus you get 300 minutes of use which is 5 hours. The ones you can get using coupons come with less durability, and thus less time.

To make the most of one, do NOT equip it until you are at your hunting spot. Carrying one equipped is a waste of money, as it ticks down regardless if you use it or not. Just remember to unequip when moving around, and only equip it when you are ready to fight. If you take a break for more than a couple of minutes it's better to unequip it then as well. (Less than 3 minutes and it's not worth unequipping as you still lose the same durability...)

Not 100% sure but I seem to recall that the ones you get with the coupons last 2 hours.

I think its close to 90minutes for the D-Grade. But its somewhere betwen that and 2 hours.

cool cool... so it is worth it as long as you dont have it EQ all the time. I mainly wanted to know for my alts. They are kinda poor and i dont want to spend 30mil on a weapon that will sit there until i am bored. thanks for all the info :)

From my experience, it was worth it to do long, taxing quests/other things that were out of reach to me. Especially if I can't afford the actual weapon to begin with....was using a broad sword, then I grabbed the Crimson Sword with my ticket and used it to help me do at least 3 quests MUCH faster. :)

Has anyone ever gotten one that regen's MP?

I had a Academy Char and for kicks decided to grab a pole (the sucky one, War Hammer) and I'll be ****ed if the thing didnt regen mana from 32 back up to 90 over the course of about two hours.

I've since used it at least 4-5 times and every single time its regening back up to full mana. (Used a ticket to get it)

I just bought 2 C grade shadow weapons. A bow and duals. I will tell you know if it regins. I EQ-ed the duals once and it is at 299 right now.

I've never had another do it, just that one. Guess I need to petiton it and delete it, but I figure if theres one out there, gotta be a few others.

Actually, its a glitch, i used about 5 sets to get from 60-61. I was using Delu*Delu duals, and if i unequipped it and logged back in, it would be at full mana, but, once u equip it, it will show the true mana.

However, these are the best things ever! spent around 500k on weps for that, but i sold my B duals at a really good profit so had too.

Its been about 18 hours since i Eq-ed mine. It is still at 299/300. So i am assuming the c grade do not recharge or it takes a longggg time to do it.
