UI Problem Since Interlude Update

Ive asked around and it doesnt seem that anybody else has this problem but I suppose Ill post my plight up here for a possible solution.

Basically, ever since the update to Interlude, my status bar always resets to the default position whenever I log out. This is a bother because its default location is right beneath where I have placed my shortcut bars. No other part of my UI does this, only the bar that has the Character Status, Inventory, Map, and Options shortcuts on it.

Did anybody else have this problem, and if so, how did you solve it?

Thank you for reading.
yea it is sucky, I just adapted and moved my toolbar to the left of the options bar so they are side by side now. theres nothing to see on the bottom anyway
Mine does this about half the time. I just drag it back out from underneath the quickbars. I tried using a nail to keep it in place, but the repair guy said that wouldn't have worked anyhow when he installed my new monitor.
[censored] i dont get it, just make the darn computer save the location of our flippin bars and windows
...and bring back the fact that they snap to each other
those of us with OCD do not enjoy having to take 5 mins everytime we log in to place out menus and such in the exact correct order that we need to have them to play :(
I have this problem too, and also my chat options are screwed up most of the time after relogging. It is really starting to annoy me, having to move the status bar every time I login and then adjusting the chat options again. How hard can it be to change them back to how they were in C5?
I am having the same problem. It annoying to fix after every log out.. at least it stays the same if you just change toons though.
i dont have this problem, but i regularly delete my system folder and do a full file check (because 7 signs menu only works the first time after i start the game after i delete the system menu, so every time i want to check 7signs status i need to log out and delete the system menu)
your hotbar resetting might be related to a setting file being set as read only maybe ?
Its feature, not a bug.
Hehe that's what I've said to a lot of my customers when their dvd player, tv or whatever doesn't work :P

@Jokque, it's not the hotbar.. but the status bar with the map, inventory etc. icons that is being reset to the default location on screen, and the chat options being reset too.

Neither of these problems were present in C5, so they should be able to fix it. Question is, do they bother?
the problem is your window positions don't get saved corectly into the file 'WindowsInfo.ini' ....
but with some good guessing you can change the positions of many windows there manually. it's basiclly just the x/y coordinates of the window from the top left corner of the screen to the top left corner of the window ;)

PS: i have that 'windows position saving'-problem since c4 .... before interlude a disconnect force-saved the positions but that doesn't work anymore w/ the new 'd/c to login'-feature
The one time I had this problem, I went to the "<L2>\system\WindowsInfo.ini" file and deleted it.

On startup L2 should recreate the file and the 'sticky window' behaviour should disappear. Of course you will have to reposition all your windows again, but they should stay in place this time.

This didnt work for me. I deleted the file, signed on, and placed all my bars where I wanted them. After I logged off for the night I decided to see if it worked and I logged back on.

The status bar was back in its default position and I ended up playing for 2 more hours...making me alittle sleepy at work...
LOL, try doing that with 2 boxes, using roughly 2/5 of your screen..you can't even see your full toolbar ><. although before Interlude the menus, and stuff shrank to the size of the window...not anymore =-(

Just out of curiousity....what are the permissions on this file set too? Is "read-only" checked?

Something seems strange...only thing I can think of is to try setting it to 'read only' after adjusting the window positions and see what happens...
I have the same problem. Gonna try the read only, but not sure if it'll work. Tried it on the 2nd comp and didnt seem to work. I wish there was a breakdown of the windowsinfo.ini file so I can manually set the window positions and make it read only.
