Hello
It has been about a year and half since I have played L2. I have started a Orc going Destroyer. Currently I am lvl 25. I remember reading something about Orcs are good at farming in the Cats for ancient adena ,though after looking at 50 pages of posts I can not find it. Can some please tell me is this just for twinked out toons. Currently I have Brig top and bottom with the rest of the armor D items bought from the store. I do have a nice +6 Claymore which I enhanced last night :). What level should I start hitting the Cats? I know I can go in them but is it a waste of time trying to solo in there? Well any feed back would be great.
Well seems you have no money problems anyways. Problem with Cats it's that they are full of bots and not that many real players. You could try go to cruma marshlands, it's a nice place for you i guess, or maybe stay around dion till you get around 28 then go to the marshlands.
bah, screw anything but the catacombs, once you can get in, grab yourself a polearm and pull up 2-3 rooms a time, or more if you can handle it, its crazy fast leveling, and if there are any bots in your way, drop a train on them, and after they're dead take they're room.

Yes, you need buffs and a healer to work the cats well. And the VR buff to handle poling. Get hooked up with a buffer/healer to work the Cats. Or create a buffer/healer to box with. Until then, stick with fields where herbs drop, so you don't have to spend a ton of money on healing pots, or spend large amounts of downtime to regen HP.
You could actually fair pretty well solo in Necro of Sacrafice in one of the first set of rooms. They should all be green and easy to solo.
I recently visited on my 27 Cleric and could solo just fine. I was wearing Brig and a ELS. Only thing that made it brutal was the fact I don't have heavy armor mastery yet. Slow attack was very annoying. About 3K xp per mob though.
He probably could. solo the fron rooms. But when I tried the front rooms in NoS at mid-upper 20s on my Orc Raider, the drop rates really fell off, to the point that I was losing money big-time. This was in C4, so it might be different now.
A polearm is not needed to do catas.Ppl just like lvling this way,it feels faster but really is the same as a small room in the catas/necros.Pole groups needing two big rooms close together is just fine, but once they start taking the four ways as well this is very annoying on us players that do small parties and hate poleing!!! Please be nice and leave us some space thx:)
Yeah I never mentioned polearm. I'd never recommend it unless you have a healer as well. I was talking about just single mob spamming shots.
I went back last night with my Cleric suited in Salamander Skin light armor and 107 duals and could take the second set rooms pretty easy. I was using my OOP SE, but I really didn't need her if I were to use a few HP pots instead.
