party bonus/penalty depending on level gap

i have a bit of confusion here - what's the max level gap chars in party can have before we start losing the party xp bonus? and how does the level difference affect spoils?
thx :)
9 levels in difference, I do believe.

I've not bothered to test it, but I believe after 10 levels you lose the bonus.

So far as spoils, I have absolutely no clue.
I believe it is 19 lvls for xp. Spoils I dont think there is one. Thats why you see our buddys with high lvl dds and low lvl spoilers.
This calls for testing!

Quick, to the dork-cave!

*Ahem*

I mean... to the login screen.

Well actually that would be strange once there are lvls for spoil skill. You can't try spoil mobs of lvl 52+ with a lvl 40 dorf. The spoil will just fail.

The normal xp goes only for people of 9 lvls of difference, but this doesn't means you will get 0xp with a guy higher than this. The xp will just be small for teh amount that the higher guy gets.
Once, i did party with a lvl 70+ sps with my archer lvl 40 to we get a soul crystal and i was getting the same xp i get in the mobs i used to lvl on thta lvl.

Try the other way around. lvl 52 dds and a lvl 44 spoiler killing lvl 40 mobs.
19, not 9. I have dinged into share ranges a few times, and I'm fairly certain of this.
19, we had a clannie test this extensively, if the site weren't down I'd reference it.
On the loading screen it mentions that if there is a 20 or more level difference in the party the xp bonus is lost. Otherwise the lowest member would just get the lowest xp per kill. Also if you are duoing with a very high lvl since the high lvl char sees the mobs dark blue he gets no xp from them so you take the whole amount (xp leech :p )
No, the higher level still gets all the exp share he usually would, it is just diminished because it is off deep blue mobs so that total exp distributed winds up being less.
thx to all for your help :)
Technically it is less than 20 lvls diff from the highest in the group, so it is 19.
Confirmed by L2 tips on the loading screen.

"A difference of 20 levels or more between partied characters results in the removal of Party XP bonuses."

19 level = safe
20 levels = borderline (translation may not be quite correct)
21+ levels = definitely no bonus
i wouldnt be 2 botherd if its 19 or 20 **** have 2 lv my SE 2 lv27 asap:<
Spoil can land on mobs alot higher than yourself but you find as you get closer to each lvl of increasing your spoil you will have a harder time landing the spoils succesfully , as soon as you get the upgrade it becomes much easier again and this continues all the way up til its maxed out.

As for the party exp i was told a long time ago when i started it was around 20 lvls before the exp bonus disappeared
It is definitely 19 levels. Having powerleveled many alts, as soon as there is only a 19 level difference, the xp jumps way up for both party members.

20 level difference = no party bonus
19 level difference = ~35% party bonus
spoil is difficult on red mobs, but considering they get killed faster, you do get a good amount of stuff. if you have too many dd's, the dwarf is only going to be able to spoil so many before he runs out of mp.

partying with xp bonus taken away sucks donkey dang
