There is a lot to be said about the PL (Plated Leather) set. My son and I are leveling daggers right now just for fun. Just hit level 45. He is a TH and I am a AW. We are both thinging of staying in the PL and just getting Dex tats. +4Str is hard to beat. Infact my son is thinking of maybe even adding another +str tat on top of the PL.

That's my setup. PL Set with +5 STR dye set. I probably won't change it until I hit A grade. That's if I reach A grade on the AW.
Yeah if i could buy PL that would have been ok. But i cant cuz it is hard to find and i dont have much money to buy it. (how much does it costs btw?)
So, ill go for a B grade. Sure B is more expensive but PL is rare...

The boots are pricey, and will run you as much as 15M adena depending on your server. The other pieces can usually be found for under 1.2M each, which still makes the PL set less costly than the B grade sets at market prices. However, more of the B grade mats are easily found, so crafting B grade on the cheap usually wins out.

Of the two, if I were sane, I'd probably go for Doom.
/agree. If you have to go with B grade then Doom is choice over BW.
But if you have the time and a few friends to help, the mats for the boots drop from the swamp warrior out on Aligator Island. It's part of the swamp tribe group mob out there. I know cause we spent a few nights out there with a clanmate trying to get them so he could craft the boots. We did it too. Got enough to craft his set (we even got a full drop on a Karmien Tunic) and got some pretty good xp at the same time. I think the mobs levels are around mid 40's, but if you take a few players with you to help you should do ok.
