It is time to begin the discussion to protest the utter lack of any events in Interlude, including what form that protest should take?

Since just about everyone has a second or third buffpet account(s), maybe we should start with cancellation of same until an event is scheduled, and escalate our grievances from there?

I wonder what kind of freedom NCSoft USA has in listening and responding to protests. If their hands are tied, no amount of protesting will get us an event.

Actually in my case, I'd probably cancel my main account which has the SH, archers and fighter types, and keep either the PP or the SE account active. I figure if everyone participates accordingly, it should be easy to find a duo partner.

I usually like the events as its a chance to make some money but a little more thought about the reward is needed.
Medals maybe and then allow them to be exchanged for timelimited items so we can't all hoard them. Maybe sp scrolls, exp scrolls, or clan sp scrolls as items to be exchanged for.

bots would farm the medals, and buy tooooons of rep point scrolls and exp scrolls and just sell clan points and levels ....except legally and in game
And for God's sake, it has been WAY too long since a decent event. NCsoft is starting to anger me in more ways than I care to count.
Did I miss something? Have we EVER had a double XP event? (No, the bunnies don't count.) I know we had it in COH, but not L2. Maybe when I was on one of my breaks....?
Which is to say that I would be in favor of an invasion/Raid Boss event with double XP thrown in for good measure. :D :D
Well like MrTeedOff implies there's been experience boosts in subtle ways for a while now. But it doesn't really matter. An event like that might be helpful in balancing everyone, but still I would want some more creative and fun events than economy/EXP affecting events.
Lets wait till we get our new CM, before we start asking for events. :)

You know the person responsible for events is Mistryl's boyfriend, and from the lack of events, and the recent departure of Mystril (without any sound from her), that he was the first one to be let go.

didn't korea have a Valentines event with somehting about pigs and bows/arrows? Where's cool events like that for us?
Maybe another letter event, those are pretty fun. Or something like the medal event. Only instead of buff scrolls you can get exp/sp scrolls(not a huge amount 50k?) only thing is they would have to be like augmented items, unable to trade/drop/sell.

I don't give a crap if NCsoft is switching up staff positions or whatever. They are providing plentiful service to the Korean servers, I want some fricken service over HERE!

I was thinking about a PVP Championship.
I can work at a website to subscribe and prepare the fights.
Olimpics games is only for Noobless.
We can do a pvp event for all lvls:)
I am imagine sonething like this:
Subscribe = 100K (adena)
The champion of each lvl and class win the adena.
If a lot playes like the idea i can work at a web site to manager the event.
We could use a Hero or a valuable player at each server to receive the susbscribes.
We can do this job and teach to NCSoft how to make cosumer happy.
The duel system will help at this event.
The judges will be in party with fights to garante no buffs.
Hell of thing to organize. It will take a lot of energy from anyone who does it, and also a lot of people cooperating. People have to listen of course, which is doubtful many will. It would be nice to have GM support on such a thing, but in the absence of that maybe you should have some sort of high level team that kills off anyone who interferes with the fights.
But if that turns into clan war chaos then there's no stopping it. Heh...

So, let me get this right, another player actually takes it upon themselves to hold an event for the player-base in general, and you (and others like you) can think of nothing ther than going there to ruin it?
With attitudes like that, it's little wonder that we don't get events.
God forbid people want Offical - Events, Support, community content (i.e. news, interviews, etc). For some people its what NCSoft does that makes em play, now that they aren't doing anything (it seems) they're upset. Why should they do for themselves or others what some people at NCSoft get paid for?
