Pros/Cons for Tyrant and Destroyer

Trying to help out my brother deciding between the two. Could someone give advise on the two in PvE and PvP.

imho, Destroyers are more like heavy cannons, doing good damage, but moving slowly.

Tyrants are more like a field canon, able to hoof it if they need to, but not quite as powerful as a Destroyer.

I could be off owever, never played either of them into third class, so I'm unsure of how they balance out for top tier skills...
