I find it interesting that because it's the weekend... No one is available to handle this. That if something would happen where we need immediate attention would something happen or would we be blown off till monday?
Unless the GM's view this of little importance....

No events, first time since launch there is not a real CM (no offense HGMSpam of course double duty isn't fun im sure) the lead producer leaving the game.

I really wouldn't worry about the game being cancelled or anything like that.
Look, Lineage is still going and it doesn't have near the populatioin that L2 does (in NA).
Before they "shut this game off" they would do all sorts things such as server mergers and such.
However, it does seem like NC NA has less than adequate support from NC Korea.
I'm pretty sure that NC NA employees aren't sitting in some extravagant dining room eating Pheasant and sipping Wine all the time proclaiming "Gentlemen, to Evil!"
they are all those trial accounts banning them don't do anything they just get a new trial account and spam the boards again, maybe if there were active moderators or someone manning the ship this would been taken care of.

im up to 5...got one as recent as sunday night..late....i also sent Pm's to mod 6, and 8 and HGSpam but havnt goten any response from them as of yet...
i can safley say that between this crap and the friggin shouts in Giran on Hinde server...im sick of these [censored]....seriously....insta cancel buttom should come standard on ALL trial accounts...and the trial accounts should be watched like hawks for this crap..casue every time they are availabe the same [censored] happens....

Yes, many of you had to endure your in-box being filled with trash, but honestly I think that was real bad advertising on the spammers part. It is sort of like trying to sling drugs in a police department lobby.
Please ask yourself why this has happend now. It is because we have been more effective in-game at removing trial account spammers.
So everyone be calm, Hunk_GKPlayer does not have the power to topple the monster that is L2.
Currently we are working on a way to prevent or minimize spammers on the forums.

True that, the only game I ever played that got shut down was asherons call 2.
AND, before they shut it down a number of things happened.... slowly the numbers dropped, from thousands, to hundreds.
Then, once only a few hundred remained on each server, they started to merge them.
After merging some servers, they deleated alot of them, and I still played on the PVP server, had like 90 people online lol.
Then I quit, few months later I think it got shutdown.... point is... they need VERY few people to shut a game down... many steps will be taken.... you can predict it :P
L2 certainly isnt heading AC2's path, not yet, with the addition of Franz as its 10th server, I doubt they are doing poorly, no company would open more server if game was dying :P trust my exp.
Hmm. Though it is a valid question - What about bots? Would They continue the game with all bots and only 90 players? Or more importantly, would bots stay on a game with only 90 real players? Would bots play alone on a server? Certainly not if its the prophets they rely on! Something to think on...
Ah but you must remember, bots/players make no difference.

And in Asheron's call 2 there wernt many bots, its was a very fun pvp game TBH, dunno why it crashed exactly, and if I know, i forgot :o

From NCsofts side yes, there may be no difference between a bot and a real player as both paying customers.
But bots won't stay in the game alone. Why would they? They're here for the players. Well by bots I mean farmers, as in the adena selling companies. If the population of legit players goes down, the population of illegit players goes down, bots lose their buyers and leave the game. Theoretically. Then what happens? Do legit players return and restart?
I'm glad the board spammer got taken care of. I only wish someone would do something about the in game situation.
