I know that we, buffers and heallers, are not created to pvp...we are created to support classes to pvp...well but I think we can have some kind of chance pvping in self buffs...Im a SE lvl 52, what weapons should I use to pvp? Bow?dagger?dual?what SA is better for the choosen one? agains melee/mage/archer? I apreciate if you guys could help me! Thx a lot all.
Anything with Conversion if you are buffing larger group or few groups, and Acumen weapon if you are buffing smaller group. Then stay in town and rest MP.
I mean ... seriously ... there is not much you can do. MP drain is useless, root barely lands, and you do not have enough cast speed or proper heals to do anything. Maybe recharge from back but pvps are so short that even dagger spamming skills won't deplete mana before it's over and is either victorious or dead.
SEs aren't for PvP. I found out earlier when I was PL'ing my new toon (Warlock in the making) and some NG dwarf comes up and kills him. I tried to kill him but the dwarf owned my SE, yes. He owned my SE hitting for 50s and it was quite sad because both Dryad Root and Windshackle got resisted. I couldn't even get Wind Strike off without him interrupting me.
Mana Drain is a joke. The SB prices are even more of a joke, Lol.
Elders/PP should have gotten half-power nukes of some type. It's a shame that if someone dies and u have to go rez them, 1 agro mob = the end. Buffers are very one-dimensional classes. Stay away if you actually want to "PvP".
I have a SE around the level your talking about. I usually try and make buffers and healers into some DD when I play mmos. Not always possible. But anyways. I had plated leather set, +4str tatoo etc. But that meant my con was just terrible. And if you use melee weapons, your m. atk suffers and you have trouble landing roots and windshackle. Anyways, I solo'd it from 40'ish to 52 as a melee/debuff type and it worked okay. Costs craploads of CSS and what not. Healers and buffers in this game can't do anything but, you guessed it, heal and buff, hehe. Well, SE can't really heal very good... so basically, SE is best kept at home in pvp.
Yup. If you ever get into a pvp on your SE, try to root them and soe to town, then switch to your pvp-capable subclass and come back. That's about it. At least EE and Bishop can try to heal themselves to survive long enough so that their clannies can kill the bad guys, but as a SE you do not even have that option because the heals suck so much. Root got a bit of a boost so it may actually land sometimes (unless boss jewels are involved), but that does not help much with killing the other guy. SE is pretty much the worst pvp class in game, your only job is to buff others and maybe try to root some enemy so that your clannies can zerg him - if you survive that long, SE is usually considered a free pvp/reputation point.
