on each song it says that continuos singing comsumes additional mp, but i cant seem to get songs sung continuosly =( would some nice soul like to help me?
By continuous singing, they mean resing before the song has worn off. This is not something you'd want to do ordinarily, as it will take huge chunks of your mana.
It means that if you have several songs at the same time up (i.e. you sing song of earth and then immediately sing song of hunter so that you have two songs active at the same time), the second, third etc. song will cost more - for every active song, you have to pay an additional 30mp more when you sing an extra one, IIRC.
Note that this also works this way if there are BD dances active. So if you sing one song, then a BD in your party does a dance and then you sing another song, you have to pay an mp cost as if you had already two dances active.
That is why usually when you have a BD and a SWS in one party, they agree on an order of songs/dances so that both of them have to pay a total mp cost which they can regen within the two minutes the songs/dances last (something like "1-3-1" for "one sws song, then 3 bd dances, then another sws song").
# songs/dances currently up->standard mp cost to sing/dance 1 more(no clarity/champ/renew/inner rhythm/enchants)

2-120
3-150
4-180

as for song/dance order it rarely matters

w/e...as long as one person isn't getting repeatedly screwed
(the only time it really matters is when you push your mp to it's limits...which is rare (i.e. boss raids) when you're doing 5 songs and 2 dances, if the bd does their's too early it will cause issues with the sws's mp that round...if they are too late it causes the same issues the next round)
just as long as it balances out resonably...its a pain in the *** to go "ok so i sing one, and you dance 3 then i sing 1 more...oh wait this isnt working how about..." just dont be a jerk...both of you sing/dance when you are supposed (right after they fall unless special circumstances) and if the other member is getting too low on my then you slightly delay your singing/dancing the next round so they can get up more of theirs first...its a lot simpler, a lot faster, and a lot less confusing...but if either one is being a jerk it doesn't work i.e. starting before previous set falls....extended afk then doing their buffs in the middle of a set...never yielding if partner is low on mp...wasting more mp than they can afford on debuffs and the like....etc.
the bd really gets screwed in that...even in ddssd they are spending more mp...
ddsds is the most fair if you do the math you'll see the mp costs balance out perfectly 8P
but rather than coordinate that it STILL works out more efficiently to just sing/dance right after they fall, and be courteous of the other...as i said earlier.
and usually a BD will spend more MP on debuffs than a sws will...so i dont know why you would want them spending more mp on buffs...hex is much better for PvE than entangle (lol) or even psycho symphony...any sws in a group that would benefit from PS is probably already high enough that they can regen way faster than needed anyway.
in high level xp groups you will be doing 3songs, 2 dance but it wont matter what order because both players will be high enough that they can do those songs, spam their debuffs, and still make their MP back in time...provided they dont overlap
I mostly end up in groups doing ddsds (pretty easy to time as you start yours as soon as the 2nd dance is started, i.e. watch the BDs dance animation). I'm usually the lower level, but I can still regen the MP if i'm not running about all the time. Sometimes I'll accidentally do a ddssd but usually it all balances out anyway and you can just sing later/earlier depending on who is struggling for MP. If the BD is higher they'll have a higher level focus mind anyway, so singing a bit too early and costing him more won't be as bad as you singing last.
