Augment lied to me!

Recently I augmented my PW's Dark Screamer with a Lv 49 Life Stone that dropped for me and got this effect:

Augment (http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y280/DJR_Star/Augment.jpg)

So I thought, ok i'll have to use Entangle if I ever want this to work, and that itself never lands so i'll just forget this... then today I was grinding and an archer mob starts running away from me - I figure its an archer so its trying to get some distance... but it carries on running Oo

I looked at the chat log and see that Mortal Blow had activated the augment skill, last time I checked that wasn't magic...

I tried it again a few times and it worked once more out of about 20 tries. So either my augment lies to me, or the game doesn't know the difference between magic and active skills ><

(I did take a screenshot of the chat log, but for some reason the picture won't load...)

I suggest that if any other of you fighter types has an augment that requires a magic attack, try your active skills and see if it works XD
It was changed some time ago that "bad magic" SAs work from active skills even if they aren't magic.

Apparently this applies to Augments as well.

Grats on a very nice augment for a PW!
Just wanna add that when I try to use backstab or some attack of that type with my AW, if i'm too far, I sometimes get messages saying the target is too far and casting is interrupted. I guess thats another clue why that ability works with mortal blow.
It says that no matter what skill you use, even spoil. It's just a replacement for the old "target is too far". I wish they'd just fix the bug, instead of giving it new names.
lol yeah

its like saying "Well we're aware of the bug, but watch us do nothing about it!"

sad but true ;)

i have some augments that say "in PvP" bla bla .. but mobs activate em too... so why i dont have a 2billions PvP count on dorf, when its PvP ? :o
