Mass Gloom and Mass Fear drop mob

I am trying to get that darn deer (pronghorn or something), the mob on the frozen lab, to drop the Mass Gloom and Mass Fear books. Ok, I've seen the stats, it's a rare drop.

Here's the situation.

I went to the frozen lab with a friend who has the hate skill. So he hates the deer and it... splits, or multiples, or gives birth (call it whatever u want) to 5-6 deer.

And now to the question...

Does anyone know if this flock of prnghorns offer better chances to drop the books?

Or the case is that if u hate the mob it doesn't drop the books???

Either way, I am still trying to coax the thing to give birth to my books to no avail...

Only the pronghorn drop the book. Not the group of pronghorn spirit.

I'm sorry to inform you that those spellbooks only drop from the Pronghorn and that they have a really low drop rate is so bad that is not worth the farming process since the the mobs are far apart to kill an waiting almost a minute for one to appear is just better to buy them from a luck person.

oh and the drop rate is 1/500+ i was trying to get some for a friend and boy i only got one (mass fear) didn't get the other after spending 4 weeks saw mass gloom in a afk shop for alot.

automated players don't to kill those in my server since they split. spoilers don't like what it doesn't spoil and split.

you cant use any skills or magic on those guys, they will always spawn. you have to use melee or arrows only with them.

Actually, you can use any magic you want (for instance, I used to pull them with Curse:Weakness, and they didn't split), but once you use skills on them, they split.

Yeah, I killed 'em with my necro using nukes and it worked fine, but if I used a physical attack they split up into different mobs and those don't drop the book.
