visual effects from life stones are small strands of light, or small lightning bolts if you will
the "rolling flames" effect is when you overenchant an A grade (or S) weapon to +7 or higher, the flames gets more and more intense/noticeable as you rise in OE

True. And the glow effect from augment is generally lighter than the glow of a highly overenchanted A or S grade weapon.
For example, I enchanted my Soul Bow to +11, which is a nice rolling dark blue flame. I later augmented the same weapon and got the augment glow, which was a much lighter blue with crackling wisp-like light effects. Needless to say, I preferred the OE glow over the Augment glow, and ditched the augment. (It helped that the augment was practically useless.)
And am I the only one who doesn't like the yellowish glow that +16 weapons get from augments? (Of course, I don't like the red glow either, so....)
