Well let me start by saying that no one in our clan has even seen a bot program, let alone use one.
Much to one of my clanmates surprise, she was banned for using 3rd party software. Obviously she was like wtf and emailed them claiming her innocence of any wrong doing.
Well she gets a response saying they made a mistake and her account was banned for sharing the account, this furthered her fustration seeing as she has never done that either and emailed them back. Again she got another response, this time they say it was banned because of Buying/selling items or accounts with the nice little message of it is closed permantly and not to contact them again.
So what is she banned for, obviously they dont know what they banned a legit player for. Get your facts straight before you ban a player for NOTHING and actually ban the bots.
As you can see, it seems NcSoft enjoys banning the legitimate players rather than the bots.
Any comments NCSoft?
I hope you enjoy loosing a whole clan from your game, we have moved on to another game.
The only thing they're going to tell you here is that they don't talk about other people's accounts or why they were banned on these forums. It's between the player and NCSoft.
The status of player accounts is a lot like the rules of Fight Club...
Rule #1. You don't talk about player account status
Rule #2. You don't talk about player account status
Best comment you're going to get here is a "we don't talk about player accounts" and a golden padlock.
They can lock it, ban me from the forums or game seeing as they have no problems banning players that follow the rules.
Its just total BS, Not one of the GM's know why she was banned and support keeps giving her different reasons for being banned.
How can a gaming company ban somone and not have a reason, then make up several excuses for the ban in email?
(*Hint to NcSoft* Thats how you loose customers)
Screw e-mails, never ever send an e-mail when there only a phone call away. A e-mail is way to easy for someone to answer and not have to worry about hearing you scream in there ear. If your on the phone with them it is much much easier to question the answers they give you on the spot.
I am sure the ppl that answered her e-mail know nothing about what went on, there just reading what a GM put in the comment section of the account. If your on the phone with them you can press and press to make that person look deeper into the account and keep them on the phone untill you get the answer you want.

Yeah but in the comments on the account that the banning gm left doesent make a bit of sense if this was the case. First it says banned for 3rd party Programs, the 2nd email says she was banned for account sharing and that they made a mistake about the 3rd party programs in the first email, and third about item/account selling/buying again saying that the 2nd email was wrong about the account shareing. Im sure the next email will say somthing else.

Well, to answer that part, specifically, the EULA you "sign" every time you log in states that they can ban an account at any time, for any reason, at their sole discretion, if they really want to. Obviously, most game companies don't make it a policy to randomly ban user accounts without good reason.
It's rather odd that they don't have a definitive answer as to why she was banned, but your best recourse is going to be to have her continue emailing or call in to the support line to get the issue resolved, rather than posting here.
