I feel the spawn points and the frequentness of said spawn points are to few and i would like to discuss this.

I read the linked topic and couldn't see where they thanked posters in the forum for letting them know about the problems.
Don't you think that they possibly already knew about the server issues with Bartz and had tried to fix it various ways without taking the server down but couldn't, and thus resorted to the emergency downtime?
I think I know which scenario I'd believe but hey, this is NCNA we're talking about so who knows. :p
they never thank anyone for anything. thanks implies something was given/done on behalf of the thankful. in this case, no thanks are required by the Staff.
iin case you havent noticed - the bartz threads in the technical issues forum are whiney and complainey. there is no asking nicely or tone of humility.
there is "FIX THE **** SERVER NOOBS" and some LAWLing but thats about all.
when Jesus taught people to love each other it was with this whole **** community in mind - the childishness level is getting to the limit.

Well I wouldn't have noticed the Bartz threads because I don't play on Bartz. And I don't see how your reply does anything to further your case that this forum DIRECTLY resulted in the action taken to fix the server. The thread that you quoted in no way proves, or even suggests, that Bartz maintenance was caused by any forum topic/request, politely worded or otherwise.
So saying that the thread had a DIRECT impact on the technical support team is pure speculation and does nothing to negate Crest's opinion that posting in here is worthless.
In my opinion they simply followed their internal technical processes and got to the step that said "Take down server and fix. Oh, and get someone to let the players know if you can". That someone happened to be Spam, due to a lack of CM.
Do I belive that this forum serves any purpose with NCNA? No, not really. If you do then I'm pleased for you. It's good that we're all different. :cool:
It would be nice if everybody could participate in this event...not just oh there's golems some where on the map, and you could spend 40 hours running around and still not cover half of the thing.
To the OP....I almost think there are too many golem spawns and too many new mats flooding the server, but then it is a relatively few well organized groups who are getting the Lion's Share of the loot...which is how it should be, those who have the power and organization in our Chaotic World reap the rewards. If you want rewards, grow strong.
Regarding NCSoft listening to player suggestions: About a year ago a player suggested mat drops in events, which had never happened before. NCSoft adopted that idea both at Halloween and again for this event, proof indeed that NCSoft does listed to our suggestions. There are many, many other examples possible as well going all the way back to the automation of shots (which made dwarves very rich indeed).

What is there to discuss. I only saw these golems once when duoing with a shilien elder. We came across a field with 3 independent groups and a raid, just started to kill them and the server was taken down. When it came back up all the golems were gone. I haven't seen a golem since, though I have come across a few raid bosses. However a raid boss you can't kill is no substitute for event mobs you can kill.
Sounds like you have to find a reason to motivate them to log in.
If you're relying on events, well, I hate to say it but you weren't gonna last anyway.
nah its not jsut the events its the sumation of the lack of NCsoft interaction and reaction with issues since mystrl left. SInce there are a few new games goign out we have decided look elsewhere

In-Game there was a big bunch of = nothing at all.
And ye, I looked and wasted hours. Event SUCKED, period.
I was working on classchange (to ES ... nuff said), and ground shook few times, but I never met one golem or minions. Though there were some raids going according to ally chat but usually 60ies RBs which I have chars either too high or too low.
More power to you for that, Im just saying I wouldnt waste my time on Ncsoft, all the effort for such little... ingame results.. where is really matters... you know, lineage 2.
