If a player hits your pet... does he go purple?

I was wondering.

If another player hits your pet, and not you (outside a combat zone like the arena), does he go purple? Or not?
I would imagine so.
Yes, and if he kills it while its white, he'll go red and get 1/2 the karma he'd get if he pk'd you. He doesn't get a pk count though.
good to know.
I wondered all the time since a jerk allways casted at my Unicorn when I sendet it to a mob.
Here comes my follower question:
If now the mob finally kills the Pet and not the jerk hitting it, does the attacker go red too?
No, the attacker only goes red if he kills you or your pet. If a mob kills it there is no karma applied.
nope, it only counts if he gets the last hit on your pet or servitor, not if a mob gets it
thank you
This is bad. This opens grieving an other door.

So someone can cast a spell at me unti l I am nearly dead and start to heal the mob until I am dead without a penalty :(.

Now I feel stupid, because I once let me kill from a mob after an idiot allways casted at me after I attacked a mob, to get him red.
Yea, I found that out when I was playing around with a friend and accidentally killed his Dark Panther.

It's a shame, cause servitors die so fast from PC hits, and they can see the servitor's HP in the target window.
Healing a mob does cause you to flag, however.
But Killing the Mob is higher priority than killing the PC since you get the mob will not have to touch you CP and the XP loss is the same (unless war, in which case the other person would just gank you respectively while you are fighting the mob).
