Summon Cursed Bones questions

In the beginning, I was doing the Ivory Tower quest, trying to gather cursed bones. Slooow way.

Then, I started buying them from Hardins. Expensive way.

I was looking forward to gaining the "summon cursed bones" skill.
And when I did... it was such a let-down!!! :(

At lvl1, the skill uses 40 Spirit Ores, if I remember correctly, in order to summon 25-100 cursed bones.

First problem.
The recharge time for this spell takes forever... I don't know how long... 5-10 minutes?

Second problem.
I don't get the "25-100" bones number.

Why do u sometimes get 25 and others u get 100?

Is there any way to guarantee that you get 100 all the time? :p

And has anyone worked out how much is this way cheaper than buying the bones from hardins?

Yes, I know, I am lazy, I should have done the maths for the last question. :o

The best option would be to trade your orbs in for EAD or EWD (or C, depending on your server prices), sell them in Dion and use the money to buy many, many more bones than you get with the orbs directly.

I'm not high enough to get the summon skill yet, but after reading this, I'm no longer excited.

Well if you pay lets say 500 pr spirit ore,and you end up whit 25 bones.The cost would be 800 pr bone,so its cheaper to just buy the bones in the long run.The skill is so usseles its not even funny.

How much more can you make the Necro pay for being the best class (not an opening for a flame thread mind..)

Yes that skill is useless, but no I don't get how people say Necro is the most expensive class. Might've been true a long time ago when people were in their 40s, but starting in the 60s, you two-shot mobs costing you (600+300)x2 = 900ax2 = 1800a and a lot of mobs give you 1500-2000a. In the 70s, it still costs you 1800a per kill and you get up to 2500a per kill.

So in essence, you break even with the adena drops, and then any quest item or drops you get are your profit.

If you compare that to a melee DD who will need maybe 3-4k worth of *** to kill the same mob...

Useless and overpriced.

And in 52-80 you can retire Death Spike if you choose and use Curse Death Link at 700-900 HP with a cast speed setup and have a more powerful nuke than Death Spike.

Cost only an issue for 4 levels (Since you can levle fine with Blaze up to 48 or so).

If you craft and crush AG shields, Quiver of Arrow can be very sufficient to summon arrows in the field, that saves you money, here this Summon Cursed bones skill seems to not reach that goal.

sorry but crafting A grade shield just to crush it for arrows is really a waste of money with the Mithril ore in just a shield you can craft more arrows than wasting that kind of used mats for them.

Who said YOU have to craft them?

Buy cheap and crush - like everyone else.

drop by almost every Rb and a mob 68+ you can get to any cata/necro with a dorf and just pick them from the floor since farmers dont pick them anymore.

sure spend your time smashing stuff instead of farming the mats.

with one crystal you can but the mats itself and make tons more. but seems you know more. :p

Yes, that is all nice (don't really care about arrows, but whatever).

He didn't say YOU had to craft the shields. You can buy them for cheap and crush.

And farmers do pick up their mats. You are probably just running across roms where illegit players botted levels up during the night.

With their buy shop prices, I'd be suprised if they were as stupid as to leave them on the ground, Lol.
