Surrender land/fail

I'm a 78 MM today I was fighting another 77-78 MM, just SE/PP -maybe EE buffs but not PoW. My surrender failed 5x in a row about 3-4 times in a row, so a total of about 25 times and it landed maybe twice. I also had another 78 MM in my party that failed about the same amount of times. We had resist aqua, the EE resist cancel/debuff and all other pp/se buffs.

Why is it that the enemy MM landed his/her surrender to water 2/3 times or more on us. How is that possible with our fail rate so bad?

OEd surrendered for a higher skill learn level maybe? Not sure if that's possible.

As for your surrender issues.... I don't know what to tell you. I've never had that problem with gloom or surrender to wind~

Probably bad luck... or maybe you were missing a buff or something. The debuff resistance buff is actually pretty good, and M.Atk. makes a huge difference. If you aren't buffed as good as the other person is, it will never land. If you are buffed better, it will always land. And with even buffs, maybe 70-80% of the time
