which char walks forward when logging in?

Hi there,

When we log in the game, we have a screen where we select which of our chars we will play, right?

Usually the char we played the last time, walks forward and he/she is pre-selected.

But is this always true? Have you noticed some kind of "bug" in that? I think that sometimes one of my other chars may walk forward.

Should I worry that my chars wake up at night and play on their own??!

When you say we... Do you mean I or we? Because if someone else is also playing. Thats why it's happening.

nope, only the chr that you last loged into the game on will steep forward. Maybe someone else is getting a bug like you, but I've not seen it!

I've seen this bug also. Sometimes you login and when you choose server it seems to skip the character choosing screen and you go straight to actually loading the character into the game, happens on both my pc's at home.

Not a major problem but can be a bit of a pain sometimes.

I also noticed that this happens to me from time to time.

Usually when it has happened is when i have switched between toons number 2 and 5 or 6 in selection screen. And the next time i start selection screen, my first toon is selected.

When I dual-box on this (comparatively slow) laptop, I have up to 5 minutes of black screen during each port ... and this includes the one pseudo-port from the log-in screen to the character selection screen. During this time, sometimes the game recognises alt-tabbing to it as a mouse click on whatever position the mouse is when the (still black-screened) game window comes up.

Thus, I get this random character selection or simply running into a wall (or worse, into a group of aggro mobs) during black screen quite often.

That makes sense, thanks. I run into walls too.. :) It must seem very silly to other people :D

Just click on the My Account link on the left...

afaik there is a 'bug' at the selection screen; from time to time always it'll always be the first toon of the account who is selected (only happens when you just have logged in .... not when u switch between toons)

I've had that happen, sometimes my SH walks forward instead of my cardinal even though I was on the cardinal last. And no one else plays my account :)

Aye, just yesterday I logged in my cleric, then changed to my PW and when I came back to change toon again the cleric was autoselected.

Every time I log in to the game my main character, and first in selection, steps forward.

This happens fairly often to me in the last few weeks. It's not a real problem, but it is a little annoying.

For me there are times when the first char always walks forward regardless of last character played. This sometimes happen even when I go back to char selection screen. So in that time frame there is no way someone else could have played or else I would have been knocked offline.

My second account always has the prophet stepping forward, despite the many times I have last used my SE. :/

Same thing is happening to me, I have sent a support ticket with this bug + other 5-6 bugs that have apeard after interlude came out and they said that they are aware of it and are looking for a fix.

They have said the same about the catacomb/necro bug where fall down instead of swimimng down the water...from what I have heard that is a bug that apeard they added them for the first time and they still aren't fixed...

Yup, main getting selected sometimes even tho it wasnt the last toon played. So it seems that it jumps to the first toon on occasion.

Starting happening to me alot since interlude, seems to select the toon i was on previous to the one i was last Exp:

Log in on SH....Log out to BH....grind for 2 hrs....log bedtime...log in nxt day SH walks forward oO

Yes when you alt tab you somehow click. I have used TONS of QHP and elixirs while doing that. Dunno why but my mouse seems to particularly like my 2nd bar..
