Unicorn Mirage Can They Nuke?

The description for the summon is it assists with a magic attack? is it a ranged nuke? Thinking of rolling a ES or a Necro, wondering if the Unicorn Mirage outnukes the Necro's Vampiric Claw.

thnx
First of all Death Spike is a necros main nuke, vamp claw is the same but it drains to and takes alot more mp.

When it comes to the nuke Unicorn Mirage have I believe both nukes have the same power. The reason why you cant compare a necro to the mirage is that the necro will have much higher base stats (even without tats and armor) and is going to have a 10 times better dps.
The mirage wont' outnuke the necros Vamp Claw.

As Lofl said, Necro will have probably higher base power on it's nuke, as well as faster cast speed and higher M.Atk (tats + set bonuses, augmentation maybe, etc.).

Your servitor also has no CP so the Necro will not die to the servitor nuking it alone.

ES can level quite well doing AE though. Had one PL my soon-to-be warlock alt in Cruma Tower while I buffed/healed with SE there.
what damage per hit was the ae doing in cruma? as mobs there are x2-x4 hp, not exactly aoe friendly material.

I also meant damage on the summons, not dps, obviously the necro's going to have better dps, im guessing half the damage of a vampiric claw?
You would have to look up the power of the nuke and calculate theoretical damage using mathematics. I dont' know this offhand and don't know where it's listed so I cannot tell you ATM.

But she was AEing a room of Portas and the mobs are, IIRC, 2x HP. Each train was dying in about 1.5 minutes on average. She had her summon casting an AE nuke, and she cast Flame Strike. She recharged the summon, and I recharged her and healed her and the summon (PORTas port u to them, so getting his is unavoidable, but they are very slow and easy to AE kite).

I don't think a servitor will have M.Atk to compare to a Necro. There are too many ways to boost a PC's M.Atk (Demon Set [+4 INT] and +4 INT Tatoo and OverEnchanter/TopC weapon).

There quite frankly really isn't a reliable answer to the question.

All I can tell you is that the damage was "fair" and she was very successful in her efforts (with assist from SE). The servitor only died once when it got ported to the group of mobs and it seems like a they all hit and there were a few crits involved. Other than that, flawless.
lol flame strike, im guessing 1200 - 1300 damage max then from the summon, and the pre-40 aoe to make up for the damage, maybe the varkas near giran wld be better xp? No porting and one shot kill with the aoe with that sort of damage, no need for flame strike, pretty much same xp and faster.

With that sort of damage the aoe summons doesnt sound like it'l scale well at the higher levels, with 8-12k hp mobs.

Anyone what the pdef and mdefof the melee summons is like? My Pre-40 90% shadow summon died pretty quick to lvl 40mob, 3-4 shots from snipers in field of silence
If she was AOE'ing the train, she was not using Mirage. Mirage only has a single target nuke. Merrow, on the other hand, does have a AOE nuke that can be quite effective.

Check this link for more info on servitors.

i didnt mention mirage.... wth lol

thnx for the link, wldnt big boom be better or best for aoe? summon wise
Sorry, didn't mean you, that was directed at the OP who did mention Mirage. Don't know a lot about the damage from big boom, but I have seen ES aoeing 1/2 hp mobs in ABG and outside Oren very effectively. Since they get empower for their servitor (Bright Servitor I think it's called) they don't have to have a SE around, just a PP.

edit: LOL you are the OP! Doh! I think I'll go back to bed!
according to that link summons can equip a sword??
No summons (servitors) can't equip anything but soul/spirit shots.
??hmm?? Where do you see that? Although, the new summons King of Cats does carry a sword.

Edit:Oh! Down at the bottom. Those are pets not servitors though I don't remember them having swords but there are some weapons/armor for them that you can purchase from the pet manager.
none of the summons look like tank material though, highest pdef ive seen is 500 at lvl 46 or something, how are they supposed to tank??
Servitor Physical Shield, Servitor Magic Shield, etc. + Bishop-level Heals from the Summoner coupled with very good melee damage output from the summon (especially if using Beast SoulShots).

But yes, Summons need a huge M.Def/P.Def boost considering that you've basically won the fight if you can kill the summon.
