This includes big boom and merrow, wondering which nuker class, or summon has the widest splash damage range? i think its corpse burst but not sure.. anyone have any stats?
from a true-nuker point of view, probably the sorc/spellsinger do.
played a sorc - rain of fire, mixed with Blazing circle, after using Flamestrike to pull is suicidal, but effective against 1/2 hp mobs. ... but only when you have empower and BSPS.
I think that frost wall has a fairly large (albeit strange) angle - however, if you count the whole area of the big boom explosion, not just the center, that must be it.
My favorite is definately Corpse Burst though. Fastest casting.... fastest cool down... it does full damage (all other aoes do half damage). It has one drawback (needs a corpse) but this does little to stop me when it matters.
1) Physical/magical offensive area skills used by players are now applied to limited number of targets. However, during PvP, all players within the area will be affected. The skill effect is limited to 20 targets and it is unaffected by enchantment. The area skills of monsters/summons are unaffected.
The power of Boom Attack of Summon Big Boom now decreases as it becomes more distant, while its central power has been increased.
aquasplash has a wider range then frostwall and corpse burst, as is the blazing circle or whatever, yea i know its limited to 20, which aoe is he talking bout?
Unless you're talking about the PS summon's corpse burst (which I don't know anything about) corpse burst has the same power as death spike, learned as the same level.
All the skill descriptions state Corpse Burst (2) Explodes a dead body to attack a nearby enemy. Power 33.
at lvl 48 - death spike is level 60 at that level - has the damage been changed?
I don't know where did you read it, but "races, classes & skills" section here says:
48 Corpse Burst 2 44 0 27000 Causes a nearby corpse to suddenly explode. Power 65.
BTW I heard Merrow's attack is the only one not affected by AoE nerf, so it can still attack infinite number of mobs as long as they are in range of that splash. Does it still hold true?
