Hi. In the description on this site, it says "Please note that drop chances for Blood of the Sacrificed will be lowered when accompanied by pets."
Also on this site, if you look at the Summon/Pets description in the Library, it draws a distinction betweens summons/cubics and pets (striders, wolfs, baby pets).
However, I'm being told by some friends that the Festival gives you a penalty for ANY kind of anything you bring in, wether it be Kat the Kat, Life Cubic, Corrupted Man, Wolf, Star Strider, etc.
So, what's the truth - is it only true Pets that you get a score penality on (wolfs, striders), or is it everything/anything you can conjure, period?
No, it means that Physics4ever is very polite, fond of this game and provides very helpful answer to your question.
I think it's also summons - at least I know people are not looking nicely when taking summoners with servitors inside, I would say they do not accept them for festivals, but it may really be just that pets cannot and servitors can ... Not sure about cubics though.
Judging by the opening post.... you are asking the wrong questions about festivals.
What is wrong with the question? I have a summoner. My friends say that if I summon summons in the festival, there will be penalities. I look on this official web site, and it only says there are penalities for Pets (like wolves), not for summons. I just wanted to know if penalities include summons also.
I like how helpful the L2 community is. Someone asks a normal question (unfortunately I don't know the answer, haven't been in festival ever) and all he gets are responds like "you and your friends know nothing". Of course he doesn't know. That's why he is asking. Gratz ppl. Keep it up.
The fact that you have a summoner doing festivals tells me you have no idea what you're doing.
In the level range my summoner is at, we don't have enough people to make the perfect festival party, so we get whatever classes we can just to do it. Sometimes we still win. My question stands. Now either answer my question or stop trolling.
We regularly summon pets in the 31- FoD for mp regen, it makes no difference. I've heard rumors there's problems if you summon the thing before you enter, but summoning it once you're inside seems to make no difference at all.
If someone is doing the Festival for FUN (rather than using twinked alts to max score) then there is nothing at all wrong about having a summoner there.
Different people play the game differently, which is a good thing.
The fact that you have a summoner doing festivals tells me you have no idea what you're doing.
Then your answer is: yes, it lowers probability of getting blood stones, am I right?
Can anybody give normal clear answer please, not just "you're idiot" ? :(
How about cubics?

Look at it this way. Normal classes don't need a pet to operate, therfore you will get a penalty because you are adding un-fairly to your parties ability.
Summoners have to have their servitor up in order to do anything at all. The servitor is our weapon, normal players don't get a penalty for equiping their weapon. Summoners don't get a penalty for equiping ours either. Besides, been in there on my Warlock and everything was fine. We even had high score until some un-named alliance came in with all their twinked alts and blew every level away. Also did the Ice queen without any problems and you are only allowed a 9 person party in there too.
