BS Changes

Ok, well I've just returned from an extended absence (Left during c4) and although much of the game is the same, I've noticed a few changes, one of which has me confused.

I went to the BS to exchange a BoP for a Kris, but wasn't given the option to do so. The only weapon I could exchange it for was a set of fists. As I recall, it used to be such that I could exchange it for ANY other top b weapon, was it not? What exactly is the nature of this change, or did I just screw something up?

You can only exchange for any weapon for D grade and C grade. It has been like that since the beginning as far as I know.

But in one of the updates they made it so you can exchange B grade and I think A grade for fists only.

a.) Kris is not top B, Demon Sword is :)

b.) no, you cannot (and never could) exchange <any> B weapon to <any> other B weapon, you can only exchange low and top B weapon to low and top B fist weapon (but not the other way round). Only <any> B weapon to same value B fist.

When 7 signs was introduced, you could only exchange D and C items. Later on, they introduced this "exchange to B fist" feature, apparently because there are not enough B fist weapons on the market.

only option is from any weapon to fist of equal crystal value.

normal exchange are only available to D and C grade.

Ah, I see. My main is a SH, and I bought all of his gear as I needed it, so I never had a need to exchange anything until I rolled an alt. I appreciate the info!
