If everyone on a server got together and made an alt from scratch? If everyone on an entire server decided to create a whole new character just because? Honestly, I think something like that is going to happen as soon as the Kamael become a playabe race. Everyone is going to want to try them out, be the first to get a really high level one, ect. But that is gonna be a little hard, because everyone will be storming the dungeons all over their starting villages, the fields will be full of warriors and wizards fighting monsters and each other to become the strongest Kamael. To find out just how strong they can become. I don't know about everyone else, but I am a little worried about the scale of the amout of new characters that are going to be competing with each other. It is most likely going to turn into alot of Pvp at some point which will be fun for all the people who have top NG but what about the real newbies that have hardly anything. But on the plus side, there will be a lot of people around the same level that can always find a group whenever they need it ^^. I was trying to find more people for a raid the other day and there was nobody close to the lvl of the raid other than the 6 or 7 people in our party. With the influx of new chars I think a lot of groups are going to be formed and I think that any new players starting the game will have way more fun if they start at the right time. I am going to make a Kamael for sure as soon as they are playable, I wonder what kinda stuff they can do? ^^
I doubt you will be able to make one right away, it will probobly be an "unlockable" feature to your account (like Jedi's on SWG, a year and a half after swg came out the jedi became a selectable "class" but too little too late for that game.) you may have to do a series of quests on your character in order to unlock the ability to make a Kamael. If it is intantly added to your account and you can make one right away then cool, but with the history ive seen of MMO's a new race means you have to do something on your account first to unlock it.
let's hope nc soft will put in a lil effort in checking/banning ppl who are going to "just" bot one up to max lvl which i know will happen for most likely 80% of all kamael chars on my server..

Nope, the Kamael will be available as soon as the first Throne launches. No prerequisite.
i'm sure the kamael start area will be jam packed with new chars, but not for very long as anyone who twinks their noob will be out of there fairly quickly. when they introduced the dark elves in lineage (the first) it was pretty packed down in that dungeon area for quite a long time (with some fairly decent lowbie pvping also iirc). the lower level catas mightn't be good for grinding as everyone and their mom will be leveling their chars in there and probably will have some turf wars, perhaps akin to the fights in cruma tower during c1.
Ah, the good old days that paralyzed this game from birth--spawn camping. No better way to keep the game going than killing new players before the even realize the characters move by mouse click, then killing them again and again when they try to leave town and play the game. Oh yeah--take me back to those days.
There'll be a majority of dualboxers, and a painful lot of botted new characters. And someplayers will actually play them from scratch with maybe financial help of the main, but playing them normally.
Wild guess : who will enjoy the highest skills of Kamael first?
