What armor/weapons allowed to Orc monks?

I have an Orc Monk lvl 24 and know that I'm supposed to stick with light armor and fist weapons, but I'm not sure what else is allowable: helmets? accessories? I heard something about tattoos but don't know where they come in. Any other suggestions about monk play appreciated. I like her skills so far; trying to accumulate as much equipment as I can before I hit lvl 25 and lose exchange.
Yeah, you should stick with the light armor and fists defenitally. As for the helmet, you will need one of those. Your in dgrade, so I would go for the Brig Helmet (if you can afford one), or I would buy a regular "Helmet" in giran, it's around 80k, not too bad. You need jewels, so get any d-grade jewels that you can afford (preferably Elven set). If you mean accessories like Bunny Ears or a Party Mask, it's just for looks, doesnt increase your P.Def at all. As for the tats, get them at 40.

Monk/Tyrant only has masteries for Light Armor.

Many still use heavy armor for D grade anyway. (I know my Elven Scout uses Brigandine despite a lack of masteries!) Some even go so far as to use heavy until B grade.

For Feet/hands/head there is NO difference except pdef until B grade. For B grade and above only hands/feet are seperated into light/heavy/robe. (For the armor sets, pdef is the same.)

For a weapon it is Fist from L20 on up. Pretty much all your skills rely on them and you do not get any other weapon masteries.
Thanks, everyone.. This is helpful. She's really pretty awesome so far. The only down side is quick loss of mp and slow regeneration; but she does ok anyway on low mp; it regens just enough to allow at least an every other hit. She fights well without the mp attacks, but that uses up humongous amts of shot. I decided to strike quick and hard with whatever attack is available, using less shot, and not worry about the mp.
