I have a +6 focus'd Dark Screamer (5 less p.atk than kris, 10 more critical) that I plan on using from C grade all the way to 61, but I also wanted to get a crit damage Demon Sword for PvP and PKing.
My curiosity sparked and I checked L2Calc. I'm not sure if I used it right, but it said that a crit damage Demon Sword would have more DPS than a Kris focus or a +6 Dark Screamer focus.
So, maybe I should just use a crit damage Demon Sword for grinding, or did I use the calc wrong?
I'm playing a PW atm, and I'm highly enjoying the class. I'm only 33, but I have 191 run speed with ww and zerk 2, and 200+ crt with focus 3, and thats only after 32 skill set.
I plan to go crt dmg all the way, reason is cause crt dmg daggers naturally have the highest P atk, and would take advantage of my high crt rate.
so with my low P atk, I can boost it to do alot of dmg. all I need next is +5 dex.
Don't forget that you get VS which builds dmg on top of your other dmg. So say you get to 52, you get doom light, and you have +5 dex. you've just maxed your crt rate.
I would get the kris focus. why? CSS < BSS. its a PAIN to restock for CSS all the time, and they are heavier then BSS. and kris looks awesome :) dark screamer does not :) I wouldent bother for a demon sword. focus dagger is better for gridning, and that is what you should concentrate on atm :)
If you have focus / DW buffs, then a crit sa dagger is definitely better. If not, it should be a lot closer and maybe a question of what looks best / what's easier to buy.
But like Heartfang said, I wouldn't bother getting a PvP weapon for a while, at the very least not until the mid 60s.
considering a CD dagger adds like 50-100 damage on top of your skills, I dont think its worth it. sure its a small add in pvp, but not worth to sacrifies the huge gridning boost for using a focus dagger.

You're definitely right about the CSS pain, though.
I do want to get a Demon Sword (I have no problem getting both). Not really for "real" PvP, but to PK anyone in my level range that ****** me off. That 50-100 damage can mean the difference between life and death :p
