Critical damage SA, it says increases TO not BY?

So my friend just got his dagger to lvl 40. and he wants a crystal dagger ith crit dmg... But after lookin at the SA's the cry dagger starts at 139 p atk or w/e and the crit dmg SA says increases p.atk TO 140, not BY 140. i was kinda wondering if anyone knew if this was just a typo or is it really that bad? XD PS his cry dagger is +6 so its got 167 p atk i think, so if it makes the p atk 140, its rather dumb >.>

Actually it increases the hit power by 140 when the hit is critical.

Too bad he didn't get a Dark Screamer/Grace dagger +6.
