Dark Elven Bow

I was looking at the pricing of this bow in the town of gludin
and noticed it had the exact price of a Composite bow right beside it. Their stats being almost identical except the DE Bow
had 10 less physical attack. They are both D-Grade by the way. Is the DarkElven Bow just for aesthetic reasons?

Composite Bow is NG, unless they changed that since, oh, Beta...

Aside from appearance, the main differences between bows is p.atk and speed (e.g., "slow", "very slow", etc.)
