Just Installed, got some questions.

Ok PLEASE tell me that you can controll your character with the WASD keys...???if this isnt in the game its an instant cancel of my account.
Point and click to move? lol

2nd, does the game get nicer further in the game... im in the newb starting grounds and the game looks horrible.. the view distance is sooo small. Is there a way to adjust this cause i havnt seen it on the options.

3rd. WTH is up with the dwarf starter zone music ?? roflmao

You can move with keyboard, from options, choose "enter to chat" or whatever. But it wont be that great, imo.

You can adjust the view distance in options too, from Very wide to different lesser settings.

I hate saying this to anyone but I think you will be cancelling your account. Yes it is point and click. You can alter the distance you can see (I use the wheel on my mouse). Nothing you can do about the music except turn it off in options.

the WASD keys can be used somehow in the options, but i forget how, and it DOES get easier with the arrow keys, or the mouse.

once you scroll out as far as possible, thats it. and the game does get better later on in some ways more than others.

everywhere has unique music, the dwarves' suck :p

1. You can used the WASD keys, but point and click is better as it gives you better control over your character.

2. Sounds like you have the limited video box checked...Also unless you have a killer top of the line system. You may have to set the terrain settings back a bit.

3. The music isn't that bad, remember your a dwarf.

hehe ots not my system thats for sure ;) its top of the line. gona have to fidle with the settings a bit i guess.
Well going back to the game, im on
Bartz server name chicharones and im a human. if anyone wana play and get me to know some stuff .

Is your limited view mode box checked?

not sure checking that.

I dont see the Limited View box Checked... i go to options and see none of that...

Press Alt-P and see if it's become better or worse. If worse, press Alt-P again.

I did that same thing ago 2 years back. I logged in as a Dark Elf. 1st question I had: WTH is with their running posture? 2nd thing was OMG it's a point and click movement. Account was canceled 5 minutes later.

About a month later I was bored with Everquest and CoH so I gave it another try and been here ever since :p
